About me
Call me Fable. My pronouns are they/them, and I'm 29 years old and married. I'm generalizing my nationality here to protect my privacy, but I'm happy to chat about it if it comes up: I'm a black African raised in my native African country, and a Southeast Asia Native descendant (through my grandmother; I've yet to identify her tribe) living in New England in the US. Please be aware that I speak multiple languages, so I tend to misuse words and/or misspeak. I'm also neurodivergent.
I'm a solitary eclectic and pantheistic practitioner, and I'm very sensitive about labeling what I personally do. ***This is not a fandom blog, though anyone that is, is still welcome to follow.*** ***I only and *might* follow back other pagan/witch/nature/magic/spiritual/related art blogs.***
A glance at my spiritual journey:
I grew up in a Catholic family, but I knew early on that this religion was not for me. However, I've always been very spiritual.
I have been researching and practicing since 2018. I started out 8 years ago with very general Witchcraft and then I gravitated towards Irish Paganism and Irish Witchcraft in 2020. I worked with Bríd for a while and I still honor her and her traditions despite that not being my primary focus at the moment.
Since then, I've gravitated more towards an eclectic*, intuitively syncretic*, secular, pantheistic* and somewhat animistic path.
Current path:
I work mainly with storm energy (rain and snow storms, lightning, thunder, wind, etc), artistic crafts (accessory-crafting), and long-term, low maintenance spells (usually as sachets, bottles and the rare baneful work).
As of October 2025, I work with Hermes of the Hellenic pantheon, therefore I honor him according to his traditions. I am also learning about Hermetism.
***Disclaimer*** I enjoy learning about different religions and spiritual practices, and I see and focus on shared aspects among them. Where they intersect is what I take to be closest to "the truth" to me, and that's what I tend to incorporate into my own practice. For example, many religions/practices believe in a storm god/goddess, or one entity that manifests some aspect of themself in that way; and so, I work with storm energy, and acknowledge all of its aspects depending on what type of storm it is and the circumstances around it. This comes very naturally to me, as a person born and raised in a multicultural country and descending from multicultural/multiethnic families; this comes with its own practices that I implement in everything I do in ways that make sense and resonate with my ancestry. Although I enjoy learning from all cultures, I do so as respectfully and humbly as I can. I am against the appropriation of words, rituals, tools, etc from closed religions meant for groups I do not belong to.
