Luke looks surprised by the question, eyebrows drawn together as he looks at her, mouth dropping open in shock. "what?" he asks, voice a tone higher than usual. "no, i do not want to steal some stuff !! what do you even mean?" while Luke had been poor growing up, stealing had never once crossed his mind- it doesn't cross his mind now as he continues to look at her as if she has three heads. he simply couldn't fathom a world in which he would steal- unless it was from the government, of course. then, he might make an exception. "who are you stealing from?" he asks a moment later, curious. if she wants to steal from the government, then have at it, he'll even help, but to steal from someone else . . . he simply cannot allow it.
