The idea that Lottie is a Hedge Witch, plagued by visions of a liminal astral realm she never stepped into by choice. To see the winding paths of the other world and convene with spirit itself, to scream out for answers from something that has never lived. She dances with shadows, sings to the spirit of the unknown.

The idea that Akilah is a Green Witch, inherently tuned into the thrumming heartbeat of the very body of this land. She feels the spark of magic in her hands as nurtures the soil beneath the flowers and feeds it’s children as if her own babe. A force of nature itself, yet she mourns every changing season.

one calls out to the shadow for answers the voiceless spirits of the in between will never answer, no matter how much she is willing to sacrifice.

one hears the breath of the wind as she walks a land spilled in blood cut by their very hands and yet still dreams of a beautiful spring in the long mournful winter.

a curse and blessing. the shadow and the living.
