That really depends 🤔
Its in early access so its not technically the full, polished game. It has a lot of bugs rn and lag and its not gonna have much to do yet. The walls disappear when in half-wall mode, they can get stuck on an activity and not progress, the Para gave me nightmares when they looked in the mirror 🤣 they had their eyes bugging out and it looked crazy, smdh.
Im more of a gameplay and decorator player. So rn, its worth it to me. The customization alone sets them far apart from the Sims, the build/buy options are cool and the build items dont cost money! The personality system is awesome, and I LOVE that the Para's develop feelings at different rates, they sit on the couch in unique ways, and a lot of folks have been making mods to improve some gameplay.
The dev team have been working on patches already to fix some early bugs like the fires not getting extinguished and issues with the firefighters. Like less than a week, they have patches which would've taken the Sims months.
The dev team has also promised that all DLC's and updates will be free. Like thats insane and I hope they stick to that. Chuz they can have my coins neow 👏🏽 Less than $40 and I get lots of future content? I live 😍
The town is beautiful, its open, theres no aggy loading screen to go from your house to a restaurant up the street. And I haven't come across some random customized Para's looking a hot mess 🤣
So it depends on your gameplay style and if you're willing to grow with it 🤣
