Kurt Wagner is the sorcerer supreme of this universe, a title that much desire and there´s no friendship or family when a wizard decides to be the next sorcerer supreme. Kurt, unlike the others, doesn´t feel so grateful for such fate.
He was thankful for never being a homeless person, however, home and housing are two different things that the young boy learned quickly. His adopted mother and her deranged children are a sore point in his past.
Lately, the sorcerer supreme is visiting the X-men a lot, the excuse is that the seal he put on the ground needs to be check, sometimes, Professor Pryde look into his golden eyes and Kurt wonder if she truly believes that(sometimes, Kurt think if he believes in that) and always let the man stay.
Most of the time, they talk about magic vs science, so far, there´s no definitive winner. Facebook can be as addictive as creating spells.
Right now, Kurt is in the yard of the mansion with the students doing small tricks for them, it is just like his time in the circus, except without the lies and manipulations.
Kitty Pryde is here as well, with her blue dress as she smiles at the kids trying to catch the ball/bubble.
A big white and transparent ball is being floated above the students´ heads, many hands and fingers are trying to touch the ball without any success.
Magik, with her pink sweater saying hug me(the message didn't reach her face, but it didn´t stop the others students through) did try to bust the ball and no success. She tried to use a big sword to do the job.
"Ah, don´t be so brute" Kurt calmly replied " if you guys wanted to see what is inside so much, let me help you" and with a flick of his hands, the ball is no longer and, instead, petals drop on their heads.
"Awww, you guys look so cute" exclaimed Kitty and taking her cell phone she takes as many pictures as her heart desire.
"Kitty, you are acting like a mom, again" Magik announces mildly annoying as the others students laugh at this interaction.
"Meh, so what? Snowflake, you look cute right now, yes, deadly cute" she quickly adds pleasing Yana very much. Illyana Rasputin is not cute, she is deadly cute.
Kurt is amused by this interaction as well, and as the kids want to see one more trick, the last one of the day, he decides to ask help.
"So, Katzchen wants to help with a trick?" Kurt asked chipper and Kitty blinks owlish, magic is not her strongest point(no, she´s just Magik´s mom)
She was about to decline when Magik accept the request on her place, wearing that deceptive childlike smile, Magik is indeed deadly cute.
"She wants, so, Kitty, time to be the Magic's assistant," Yana said with her smile and Kitty sigh, the student overcome the master.
"Fine," she pouts and goes next to Kurt "I don´t know how to act in public and with witchcraft involved...You will not turn me into a cat" in the last part it was said with a frown and crossed arms.
The students laugh and share inside jokes that are far-fetched for Kurt.
"Not, of course not, Katzchen," he said and then analyze her face" is your first time as a magician assistant?" the young woman nods and then he lifts his eyebrows for a moment " I see, I´ve done jobs like this several time"
With a flick of his hand, the blue fur is gone and the man is now a woman, Kitty Pryde with a show business smile making the first Kitty eye the second with wonder. The same face, eyes, smile, and hair. Except for the smell, the first Kitty smell(thanks to her perfume) like roses while the second have the smell brimstone.
"You are me?!" Kitty asked the wizard " and what are you wearing?"
"This? To DC?" Kurt asked and Kitty nods.
"Yeah, it looks like Zatanna" Kitty replied as Kurt return to his normal face. " I can´t be like her, but, I´ll try to help"
"Good, give me your hands" her right hand meet his left hand and vice versa, making a sort of cross " relax, Katzchen, this is just a child play," he said and the young woman nods(her hands are tine, he are big and strong, calloused) " you have a pet?" he asked.
"Not a pet, a friend" Kitty vehemently defend her purple dragon. In a small light, the said dragon appear on her arm looking confused for a moment, rose his arms at Kurt for a moment as if asking for a fight.
"Hello, dragon, what´s your name? My name is Kurt Wagner and I want to meet you, and the students too, do you like magic?" this lifts the Dragon´s mood as he goes to Kitty´s shoulder and looks in awe. "Well, you are in a magic show right now, my friend"
"You summon my Lockheed?" Kitty asked to clarify the situation as the tiny purple dragon is cuddling with her "that is amazing"
" Why thank you, and nice to finally meet you, Lockheed" Kurt can argue that the tiny dragon is really bad at stalking, but dragons are great guardians and are nice to see that Lockheed cares for the students and Kitty.
"It is easy to spot you, Kurt, you love to do tricks" a new voice from above break his feelings and the same goes for the students, Kitty and Lockheed. Above their head is Dr. Strange looking at Kurt in a way that it would make Kill Bill envious.
"Kurt Wagner, sorcerer supreme, we finally meet again" Dr. Strange announce using a perhaps a spell to deep his voice to the extreme(hey, nothing more serious than Darth Vader´s voice) this only prompts the blue sorcerer to roll his eyes.
"Hi, Dr.Strange, it is not unusual to see you," Kurt said sweetly. And fly to his level as a pair of eyes witnesses the conversation. By the look of students and Kitty, this is not even on top 10 of odd thins to happen.
Oh, right the X-men´s life is a hallucinotic adventure each day.
"I came here to settle things with you," Dr. Strange said frowning with his lips in a thin line.
"...What?" then Kurt try to understand the situation " It is because of calling you Benedict Cumberbatch, and make your pupils believing that you are the said actor"
"Is it because I made your furniture gain live and run from your home?"
" Is it because I start the nickname Iron Man 2? Or because I made your house look like a Sponge Bob homage or because once I made your entire be full of puff? In the latter, I was doing you a favor, puffs are an important part of Star Trek franchise"
"Enough, I want to be the sorcerer supreme...and for you to stop pranking me," Dr. Strange said in a barky tone. It is super unaffected.
"One, I think you are mistaking me with Loki, I understand: he is blue, I´m blue, but he´s phony and this is bluecist" Kurt explained patiently " and two, each prank is linked to each time you said to a mutant you can´t help because you´re neutral...but goes out of your way to help the Avengers"
Maybe, Dr.Strange didn´t like the burn or to be called out on his own hypocrisy or maybe it was the fact his house once was a Sponge Bob homage that prompt the man to attack with his most furious and powerful spells.
Even using his amulet, however, for his biggest disappointment, his powerful spell didn´t cause any damage on Kurt, yet, it did make his anger grow.
"Oh, I´ve people attacking me before for this title, but, never once someone attacks me near a school ground, Dr. Strange, that is a foul play," Kurt said and soon begins to attack.
His spells are far too advanced for Dr. Strange, and it didn´t seem like Kurt is breaking a sweat while Dr. Strange is having a hard time to do even be at his level.
Finally, Kurt manage to beat down Dr. Strange to the ground, not even the cape could hold on for so long, Kurt did drain most of its power and block any other magical source making Dr.Strange weak and vulnerable.
Kurt is not sadistic enough to let the man fall to his death, using a levitation spell the body of a much alive Dr. Strange softly hits the ground revealing a defeated Dr. Strange to face a victorious Kurt.
"I won, now, please, take this defeat as a lesson, instead of hurt ego, no one is better than anyone, no one can be the best all the time, but it would be wiser to do your best to those who can´t defend themselves, after all, if we have magic we ought to put in a good use, right Dr. Strange?"
The rose from the ground and nods acting very much like a child who was scowled by his mother.
"Great, and another lesson for you, the seals are temporarily, but for now you can´t use your powers, so to go home, you need to go to the airport like everyone else" Kurt give a big smile at this while Dr. Strange take a deep breath.
No one at the mansion will be kinder with him now, but, at least, the airport is closer and his trip back home it will take 10-12 hours.
As the defeated Dr. Strange leaves the sight of the X-men, Kurt was ready to say goodbye and leave as well(he doesn´t have a home, just a house) when someone tugged his arms gently.
"Well, that was the funniest thing I ever witness," Kitty said with Lockheed on her shoulder faithfully " hey, anyone who doesn´t like the Avengers is welcome to stay for dinner if you want"
"Awww" the students coed and Kitty did her best to ignore them and Kurt is being polite to not smile at such reaction.
"I would love to stay for dinner, Katzchen"
"Do you want to stay forever?" a voice shouted and it earns giggles from the students and Kitty inhales and exhales doing her best to ignore the antics.
