I talked a lot about protective affection from Adriel to Ava, but honestly the reverse. Ava kissing Adriel's forehead. Having him lay in her arms. Ava rubbing Adriel's back to reassure him. Brushing his hair. Placing a blanket over him when she finds him asleep. Ava being protective over Adriel.

Not to bring my knowledge of the WN comics but Beatrice's surname in my head for the longest time (pre-s2 and before finding out KTY was Finnish-Chinese) was Yōma bc a lot of people who read the comics (self-included) thought that she was probably the show's version of Sasuki Yōma.

I have a headcanon that Ava sometimes suffers from sleep paralysis - especially during stressful times. When it happens, she is once again, be it temporarily, put into the state of loneliness and helplessness she knows too well.

But in Adriel's arms, she can feel safe enough to close her eyes, and listen to his heartbeat while she waits it out.

Honestly, Adriel would feel so upset seeing her in such state, as there is nothing he can do to make it end - only comfort her while it runs it's course.

I think Lilith would want a baby with Adriel.

Before, she neither wanted nor didn't want children. She was a legacy, and a family could never be a part of her predestinied path. So, she never gave it any thought.

But, once she had broken free, she finds herself longing for a child, simply because she was never allowed to desire one. The notion of her own legacy excites her. And, for the first time, she could have blood family who loves her unconditionally. A child born of her and Adriel would be a being of unimaginable power... The thought makes her smile.

Of course, it makes most sense for the child to be conceived by accident, and for Lilith to then grasp her feelings. It just wouldn't cross her mind until then.

In Avalilidriel, the one in the middle depends on who deserves/needs the most love and care in that moment.

Most of the time, especially when it comes to rest, it's between Ava and Adriel though. Lilith prefers to be on the edge, so she can cover both of them with her wing while laying on her side. And, she likes to watch the door (she's more protective than a rottweiler on steroids).

My favorite Avadriel headcanon/scenario is him trying to charm her by giving her some fluffy creature. Maybe Kristian gave him some... Ill advice. I'm not sure if either of them knows how to care for exotic pets (he was around during the Medieval period, so he's familiar with horses, maybe dogs). Or, he'd do something completely inappropriate, like leaving the "new member of the family" to watch over an infant child.

Ava: Angel, where the is Ariane?!

Adriel: It's fine, Samael is watching her.

Ava: ...SAMAEL IS A FUCKING CHINCHILLA!

Well... Maybe then they'd end up finding a dead Tarask in the house, Samael the Chinchilla sitting on top of it, looking suspiciously pleased with himself. Turns out, Adriel stole the critter from Jillian's lab. Or, Reya snuck him into the pet shop Adriel went to, wanting protection for her future grandchildren.

I don't know why I'm so obsessed with the concept of Adriel being Michael Salvius' surrogate father figure, but I am.

Then, the scene in S2E6 (where Michael faces Adriel) can be interpreted as...

Adriel: hello son, I see you spent your summer at the hag's house

Michael: nan says you're a twat

In an Avalilidriel scenario, Ava would feel completely surrounded by love and warmth. She'd bury her face in Adriel's chest, while Lilith would press herself against Ava from behind. She'd cover both Ava and Adriel with her wing, shielding them. In the arms of her husband and wife, there is no way Ava could ever feel alone.
