The colors are described as an iridescent dark blue and purple, so I based it off of beetles that color

The blobby part of its wing where Umber fixed it has changed color like real life steel when it is heated under certain conditions!

Not 4 wings, just supposed to be blur frames to show it is flying.

And now the concept of Sharpwings from me

First of all, I'll say that for me, Sharpwings are NOT robots or mechanisms. That concept is too complex for dragons, the level of development shown in the books. So, I imagine them as golems. It's a straightforward concept – you sculpt something in your own image and brought it to life with magic – that's it. I imagine Precipice could smelt them from solid pieces of metal, or fuse several together if it needed more, and draw details on the molten metal. (Or she could make details with magic, but that's boring.) I imagine their wings as very dense foil or corrugated metal sheets located between the phalanges.

While I was reading the book, I couldn't get the image of a mechanical dragon from Warcraft out of my head, so I drew a design similar to them.

I also want to say that someday I will make a drawing that will feature the dragon Clink and the robot Clank from the game Ratchet & Clank...

Listen ok I know the only reason Nineteen is called It/Its is because it's not organic but as your local It/Its Fanwing, I am in love with the not imposing She/Her or He/Him on the Sharpwings

Book Sixteen - Umber (of course)

Book Seventeen - Platypus*

Book Eighteen - Royal**

Book Nineteen - Mulberry

Book twenty - Sora

*Could also definitely see this being a Quokka POV book, but I can't see both characters getting books, especially if Umber and Sora both get books.

**It's going to be Royal but I'm really hoping for Nineteen (the dragon) to get a book

I would love a winglets or legends from the perspective of Nineteen. Or any of the Sharpwings honestly, I need more of them.
