Keeping Warm
Lamb!Dean and wolf!Cas~
Ok, so, I’ve been playing a bunch of breath of the wild lately (‘cuz I got it for Christmas) and I wanted to see if I could turn it into an spn au SO . . .
Dean as Link (because he fell protecting Sam/Zelda and is the special knight)
Cas as Wolf Link (’cuz special character and companion of sorts)
and Sam as Zelda (’cuz long flowing hair and and special “fight the evil” powers)
I’ll probably draw more of this.
Dean was way too young to remember their first meeting, but Cas - who was almost ten back then - remembers it perfectly. It was the first time when he saw a baby that was not a wolf- such tiny, warm, sweet smelling creature that smiled at everything, including Cas. Castiel’s father put his hand on the shoulder and told him that leading a pack means not only taking care of the wolves living in it. And then Mrs. Winchester let him hold little Dean for a while, and Cas was fascinated with his curiosity and complete lack of fear. He never thought he will meet Dean almost 22 years later, though.
Tempest of Oblivion by thepinupchemist
Summary: It is the responsibility of the alpha to take care of their pack. On a hunt, Dean finds an omega in pain in his packlands. His territory. He could toss the omega out of his land. Instead, he takes Castiel in. Once Castiel is pack, Dean will do anything for him.
Comments: 8/10 it’s fluffy and sweet and the best happy ending possible. Cas comes from a very abusive and traditional pack, where the omegas are shared the moment they present, but he escapes and run across Dean, who runs the best pack in the world. They’re wolves, Gabriel makes hand carved wooden knots, which I find hilarious.
For the wip game, Fernbridge?
(This is for the tag game~ :D)
Fernbridge is a lamb!Dean and wolf!Cas fic (same verse as this doodle)! I have forgotten about it until this tag game crossed my dash!
I think it's a fun universe to play in, though I would definitely write it differently if I started it again.
(For all this fics, I feel I've posted snippets before and it's always the same snippets *lol*)
Snippet:
“Where are you going?” he asked, taking in the lamb’s get up. “I’m going to the university. Introduce myself and maybe get some books,” Dean answered. Castiel put down his work but Dean held up his hands to stop him at once. “I can do it alone. I’m not a child.” “I don’t want you to get lost,” Castiel told him and Dean rolled his eyes at him. “It’s a big city.” “And I’m a big boy,” Dean said with a snort and Castiel didn’t think it wise to remind him that he was really quite short. “And I can always ask for directions. It’s not like people will turn away from me when I need help.” Dean batted his eyelashes exaggeratedly. "I know I'm adorable and I will use it to my advantage." Castiel sighed but nodded. Dean was of course right; people would be keen to help a young lamb. They wouldn’t treat Dean the same as him. On top of that he knew it wasn’t his place to deny or grant permission – he wasn’t the lamb’s mother after all.
One centimeter, two centimeters.
Dean still has a lot of catching up to do until he’s as tall as Cas! ;D
Maybe you grew. A centimeter or two.
I continue spamming you with bad sketches but I’m enjoying myself. *lol*
Little lambs should not stray too far.
This... is something. @questionableraccoon mentioned “Wolf!Cas dressed as Little Bo Peep in reverse lamb!verse" some time ago and I... I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Any chance to draw some cracky stuff has to be taken!
If you don’t know reverse lamb!Verse it’s wolf!Cas and lamb!Dean. It’s both weirder and funnier than lamb!Cas verse.
(I don’t know who Little Bo Peep is and google was a bit vague.)
