Einzelgänger rolled her eyes at the woman’s eager demeanor, watching from a camera monitor that displayed the vast floors of the building. She only captured her to see why V would throw her into danger, see why the woman could handle it. Of course, that didn’t excuse why she captured the woman’s lover as well just to clone her, having her tied up and gagged in the fifty first floor in the 52 story building, due to counting the basement where the woman was now. Using the lover’s clone to fight her if and when she meets her i the middle floor of the building.
Not that she gave any indication that she got her too. Rather be dramatic than give her a reason to work hard.
“Running.” She said simply. “You have fifty two floors to get to, starting with the basement and work your way up. Follow the instructions along the walls and you might survive.”
“Ahaaa, challenge accepted!” She remarked confidently and looked around. Easy peasy, right? Wolf was incredibly fast and liked to think she was at least somewhat resourceful. “This’ll be easier than my side-job, maybe finally the danger will chase me down, and no’ the other way around.” She looked around for the camera that surely would be one in many watching her and recording her movements, and grinned. Something was suppressing her disgruntlement about being forced into this test chamber, she didn’t seem to be able to stop feeling chipper, but for some reason, the woman didn’t care. A switch hadn’t been pulled yet, which right this moment was probably a good thing.
So she ran. The first two steps she took she nearly tripped over her own feet, but as long as she got back up again, she’d be fine. “I’ll be done in no time, mee’cha a’ the top!” Despite her rather positive attitude, a nagging uncertainty was pushing at the back of her mind, but she wrote that off as anxiety about being in the basement. No one liked basements, and at least this one wasn’t so dank.
“Please, I don’t want them to hurt you again.”
//oh my freaking gods HEY SKYLER <3 <3 *ahem* Er… I’m going to assume this is for Wolf, because Skye never tells or shows people when she’s hurt.
Wolf shook her head, lips pursed as brunette hair whipped lightly about her rather pallid face. She wasn’t going to say anything about it, she absolutely refused. Not only did she not want Skyler to worry, she also didn't want to talk about it. This time, she had come out with marginally fewer visible wounds: On her arm was one faint bruise pattern in the shape of a hand, her lips were split in a couple places, nothing major. Still, the mental damage had made more of an impact; Wolf had been scared out of speaking, so she simply sat holding her arms close across her body as though to warm up, and slightly hunched her shoulders. Overall, she felt and probably looked pretty harrowed, but perhaps that’s why Skyler had stopped her and coaxed her into a seat.
Messy Business || Ryat & Wolf
She didn’t want Shilo to be upset, but she definitely did not want Shilo to be hurt. The moment she’d learned about her wife’s encounter with the demon, Wolf was furious. Perhaps it was irrational, perhaps it meant something that he actually hadn’t killed her. Wolf didn’t care. She had pushed those thoughts away quicker than a lighting strikes a metal pole. They had become lost completely in the sea of whirling other thoughts, the waters were hazardous, and people were going to die.
Or a demon. In particularly, Ryat.
Wolf knew Shilo could see the anger, she saw it in the other woman’s face, her body language. Shilo had tried to petition her not to go, she pleaded with her to stay and just let it blow over. “Ryat didn’t mean it, and he didn’t actually hurt me. I’m fine” Well. Wolf had calmly but a tad stiffly walked out the front door despite Shilo’s protests and reassurances; she was headed straight for Ryat’s place, fury rising with every step she took until she arrived. “RYAT!!!” She stood there gripping her crossbow firmly, lips curled into a snarl.

"Tha' was unnecessary. Highly unnecessary."
Wolf grimaced and was even considering walking away, were it not for the fact she still wanted to talk to someone and this was as close as she was going to get, today.
Where DO Demons Hide? || sterlingsilvertongue
Nothing had been going on for the last two days, absolutely nothing at all. After she'd finished that last piece on gardening, Wolf had decided to actually stop writing for a little bit. The grinding was getting tiresome, she ached for some real stories but knew sometimes you just weren't that lucky
She was laying in a tree, feeling the slight breeze on her face, and listening to the rustling leaves of the countless other foliage as well when she smelled it. "Whoever you are, I really think today is no' an opportune day t' mess with me," she sighed wearily. "Move along."
My head keeps fooling myself whenever we are going to face a long time without seeing each other, it changes the dates so i end up thinking i'm going to see him soonest than reality demands. Not seeing calendars often, being busy doing parallel things beside waiting, helps. Think i can be grateful about it because i can tell (fool) myself i don't have to wait that much time, and when we talk again about how the day we're -officially- meeting is near, reality check takes place and tells myself to wait a little longer. But i guess now that i've realized how the filthy/bright trick works, won't be happening again.
