alabaster (ala_besterTV on twitch) is a "cosy game" streamer trying to find some peace and quiet after quitting his rage game niche and taking an eight month break. his friends recommended a cosier, low-stress game. "it's like a vacation," they said. alabaster doesn't feel like he's on vacation. he feels like he's in a new, worse hell. wolf is an event-only npc similar to gulliver—he appears once every month on the player's island and offers to trade trash, bugs, and rocks for the player's bells. occasionally, he gives gold, iron, or a rare bug. the wolf npc in alabaster's game, however, is acting weird. he can interact with objects other npcs can't (furniture, decorations, the player's tools and nookphone, turnips); he lives in the player's house and refuses to leave; he is thoroughly convinced that he and alabaster are best friends— and he's way more sentient than he should be.
