wordstuck iii - spoilers under cut! 

alright, it’s been long enough that i can post this now! this is what i’ve got from wordstuck iii - the actual answers in red, and assorted other findings of mine in blue! some of the blue ones are probably not intended, but some definitely planted knowingly by everyone’s beloved @internzi​. there might be more goodies in here that i haven’t found; if so, please feel free to let me know! 

for those unfamiliar with word searches - the answer is found by finding all the words listed (or in this case, items circled in the puzzle’s accompanying picture), and the letters in the words that are in the rainbow columns form the full final word - in this case, “constellation”. 

also, raise your hand if you spent an inordinate amount of time looking for “chalk” before you realized the trick to it

At the risk of sounding stupid over here- what exactly are we supposed to do with wordstuck? I understand it's a word search of some kind, but which ones are we supposed to find? Why are the middle columns highlighted? Did I miss an instruction page or smth

(I didn't participate in the first two so if someone could tell me what I'm missing it'd be greatly appreciated)
