Another nerd rant about how Viltrumite society makes zero sense, incest would have been an issue at some point because no one tracks family lineage. Even when it comes to the fucking royal blood line of Viltrum.

They don't have last names, and according to the comics, the "strong chose their partners," meaning even if people did get with distant relatives, no one says anything. These fucking idiots would have ended up genetically bottle necking themselves even without the virus. There were probably so many causes of people mating with second cousins they didn't know existed because I seriously doubt they had family reunions.

The thing with "Dance and Pray We All Remain Alright" (Dance and Pray for short), I'm figuring out the details of Dinuas as I write the story. I know in essence of what Dinuas is, but the specifics of how and why I don't know. I think I figured it out...except trying to explain the specific of the 'reincarnation but not' part in simple terms is hard to do without a visual representation...

...the power is being "reincarnated" not the soul of the vessel, but it's more complicated than that...and I think the best way to make an example is to make it part of the story.

Following the story, the next chapter...is a doozy. I KNOW I was heading in this direction; this is where the Dubious Morality Porchay gets involved and the Dark (?) Porchay gets involved...it gets bloody, might have to up the rating...rating might get upped either way...if not this chapter, then definitely the next...cause body worship.

Along with the "I know where I was going the moment I started writing"...chapter 5 is the ONLY chapter with a title and there's a god forsaken reason for it, but SOMEONE got to the name first (i'm fucking amused, we need to have a DISCUSSION!)

So I ran into a problem with my wip, broadly speaking there are two magic factions the good ones and the bad ones.

I'm trying to set up the world building for the magic systems and so far I got that the 'bad ones' sacrifice life, any type of organic life counts, and they use that life energy to power up their spells. But this can also be pretty neutral simce they can just choose to sacrifice plants and not people/animals.

So I'm not sure what to do with the 'good ones' in this scenario. I could have them pray to a higher being and borrow their power, but that implies not real effort or sacrifice from them. Maybe they can offer their blood as a Simbol? Though that will majorly fuck with their whole aesthetic. They could pact with a god instead I guess. But "I will do a hundred good actions if you let me strike this motherfucker Allmighty one" It's just weird. Would they allow installments? Do they charge per strike or per punch? It's just a lot to consider

When you're trying to do some world building for a story that will NEVER see the light of day

But it isnt working because it's only 6pm and you're not in your "creativity zone" of 2am sleep deprivation

Can i tell you how the magic works in the world or what limitations there are and who or what can use it or where its from with this hard magic system i'm so bent on making for this fictional world i'm developing? No.

Can i tell you the intricacies of society's view on reproduction and penises and breasts and how its treated within each social class and race? Or hell, even the dick size of 90% of my characters? Yes. Most definitely.
