Aka: why Via and Bunnie left the council.
(Gosh my art style kept changing while working on this.)
So important notes for understanding this post:
This here is Imagia. They are the head of the council. But was is the council? The council oversees dimensions, making sure everything is in check. But before the dimensions existed, there was nothing but floating dust.
But if you can create from dust, than can stuff be made if the dust was placed in certain ways on their own?
This is how Imagia was created, and they created the universe, and the council themselves, for they knew there must be more than dust. It is said they still create to this day.
Or well, they created… most of the other council members.
This is Deja. After the council had been well formed, the dust created another. Confused, he was taken in, and questioned on where he came from. And he answered honestly. “I don’t know, I just appeared, who are you?”
Eventually, Imagia decided to take him in as a son. He had learned a lot about them, and looked up to Imagia. They seemed so smart, and powerful…
Which is why he couldn’t understand why they let some of these worlds exist.
There were some worlds that, for differing reasons, Deja did not think deserved to stick around. Perhaps they were plagued by war, or, well, a plague. Maybe disaster after disaster had ruined the population to but a measly few members. Or maybe a dystopian society had popped up. Whatever reason, he felt that the worlds needed to be destroyed.
He pitched this concept to Imagia, and they understood. Deja had a way with words. He even had a role in the council now, as the one who decided what worlds get the axe.
What he didn’t expect was for Imagia to create two new members to help get the job done.
These two are Messenger and Worldender, and their roles were… pretty self explanatory. The first, Messenger, could remove those who lived in the world, and place them back at the council. She could then take them to a better spot for them to live. Worldender, meanwhile, would be the one to actually, well, destroy the place.
Deja… didn’t like Messenger. He didn’t want those in the worlds to be going anywhere.
He could only do it once. The dust didn’t like messing with itself. But he could… change her.
One day, with no one watching, he decided now was when to do it.
No one really knows how he did it. But he… changed Messenger’s form. Ruined her abilities. Stole her voice. And even though he didn’t do anything to them, the stress messed, just a bit, with her memories.
He told her she wasn’t wanted anymore, due to what happened. And she ran. No one really knows where she is now. And he told the council that she had died. And they believed him. Deja had a way with words.
Imagia grieved. Messenger was like a daughter to her, they never thought they’d lose her.
Deja was forced to hide his smile. He believed there was no way that his vision would be destroyed now!
…but Imagia still needed someone to play the role. And thus, they created… Via!
Yeah. …This is what I’m going with.
Deja couldn’t believe that his plans were destroyed so easily. He couldn’t do the messenger thing again, but would he do?
And he had an idea.
Via was created by a grieving soul. She wasn’t the most… stable creation. Physically or mentally. Bunnie was created for this one purpose, as a sort of… personal therapist, if you will, with the other Beezelbuns helping the girl out.
So Deja decided to emotionally manipulate her instead.
Simply putting the idea in her head that no matter what she did, Messenger was probably better at it.
That she shouldn’t exist.
She had no purpose.
Eventually convincing her she wasn’t wanted, causing her and the Beezelbuns to sadly leave, fearing that the council just didn’t want such a bad girl.
Deja managed to convince Imagia that he should be next, that he would save the people, and that he could handle the responsibility, much better than Via was anyway.
Of course, he wasn’t doing it. Imagia was too far in their own grief they didn’t really notice.
But Via never really stopped.
Her and Bunnie were hiding out in a void of her own making. The Beezelbuns would secretly take any member of a destroyed world there.
Tl;dr, the council is run by Imagia, Deja’s a little shit, Via was a replacement, Bunnie’s a therapy thingie, and they were emotionally manipulated into leaving.
I tear through the night and I raise some hell ‘Cause I’m the Worldender baby And I’m back from the dead
I’ve been obsessing over the idea of Undead Nightmare cover Arthur for months now and I just recently found those videos on YT about the Undead Well and stuff where it makes you look all zombiefied if you have low honor lol.
Meant to post this sooner but I accidentally deleted it.
“Rick, whoever did this is an even bigger threat than WorldEnder”
