yeah yeah rainbow capitalism is bad and whatever but like. when I was a child, being pro gay was not the popular or lucrative choice. I'm happy that times have changed.
I miss rainbow capitalism. I do. I miss when it felt like public opinion was still pro gay. I understand it was always an empty gesture, but it mattered in a sense of knowing how socially acceptable being queer is. If that makes sense.

Top: Paper Mario: The Origami King contains an unused setting for text to be displayed at a 90° angle, demonstrated here in-engine.
Bottom: the game often uses text gimmicks for characters who are in nonstandard states. As such, it is possible that this was intended to be a text gimmick for characters who for some reason or another, are arranged perpendicularly to Mario while speaking. This is a mock-up of what such a usage of this text effect could have looked like.

Fun fact: those brutal schedules have actually been the cause of a few crashes because the employees are punished and can lose their jobs for that three minute delay. So they don’t always take the precautions you might need to, might take curves slightly too fast, might go over speed to make time tables, and on trains like those, derailments can be catastrophic. One of the worst plowed into an apartment building and killed 106 people. All because the driver, only 23 years old, was trying to make up for a 90 second delay.

Half of south america is a silly place with weird animals and beautiful landscapes.
The other half is horribly corrupted, is full of poverty and you have to sell a kidney to buy a single grain of rice.
Buddy I literally live here (Argentina) they're burning islands down just to benefit the rich

Realized I never made a proper critter version for Clara so here she is - Clara is a hare who first appeared on the late 80s and early 90s cartoon, in a spring-themed episode where she was Bobby's friend and caretaker of a garden. Bobby really wanted to hold the spring festival there, and Clara was helping her prepare, but trouble arises when Clara's constant fear of everything start getting in the way. The end of the episode featured a giant bug crashing the festival and everyone running away, except for Clara, who not only manages to calm down the giant ""critter-eating"" creature, but calls out the Nightmare Critters for scaring the poor thing. When the other critters comment about how brave Clara was, she replies with "me? Brave? But- but that was just a bug! I always see them around my garden, they're my friends!"
The "moral" the episode was supposed to teach was that what is scary to you won't always be scary to others, and that you should respect the fears of your friends. If that was effective or not, who knows! Clara got more apparitions later on
She has a strawberry scent and is a biiiig sweetie with a really soft voice. Gardening is her passion, and she's a certified bug nerd. Clara's pendant is able to calm down the critters and animals around her.
Actually, Barbie didn't give me body image issues. To me, she was just a doll. She wasn't real. What I did learn, however, was that a head is very hard to reattach.
The critter all lack pendants! I nominate Dally Dalmadoodle
She is prime background character material
love the phrase “we’ve gotta get some food in you”. tickles my brain. it draws attention to the organ being a physical place but also fully addresses the person who needs food (“you”). Its very caring and sweet and also very funny and has the potential to be very somatic. Good phrase
I should be doing more to appreciate the lack of marvel movies in today's popular culture. I once yearned for marvel movies to have this level of irrelevance. They used to feel almost ozymandian, like an empire that had no beginning and no end. and now tony stark iron man is naught but two vast and trunkless legs of stone.
Made a Mina voice claim video because why not. I'll make another part to this after getting further into the game.
My favorite thing that I learned about The Importance of Being Ernest is Oscar Wilde faced a lot of criticism in 1895 after it premiered for writing something light and funny when there was war and suffering in the world. like we know common themes are found in art throughout time but so are they in art criticism
