I wanna see Wormo in your style!
If you could un-abstract 2 characters who would you bring back?
Also do you think the abstracted characters will be revived in episode 9?
I love Wormo so much
I've seen a few posts making timelines of when people joined the circus/abstracted, but I haven't seen many since episode 8, or at least none I've been happy with, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm also trying to only use evidence from the actual show, no 'Gooseworx said so'.
We know the original group of humans in the circus were the devs; Scratch, Wormo, Spike, Bizco, Rattie, Queenie and Kinger. Obviously they mostly abstracted - Scratch, everyone else, Queenie, leaving just Kinger. Then the first non-dev human, Ragatha, appeared next, as confirmed by Caine in episode 8. Everyone else comes after her. (Note that distance on the line does not scale to time between two points!)
From here things get a little trickier. We can add Pomni's arrival and Kaufmo's abstraction at the very end, since we actually see those.
In episode eight, Jax says to Pomni; "Y'know things were just fine around here until you and Zooble came along," making them the second-newest.
Gangle - when seeing abstracted Kaufmo in episode one - is confused and afraid, being shocked when Jax tells her that that is Kaufmo. To me, this says she's never actually seen an abstraction before, putting Ribbit's abstraction earlier on.
It's not clear what order Jax, Ribbit and Kaufmo showed up in, and I can't find any evidence either way. Personally I think Ribbit being before Jax makes the most sense character-wise, and I put Kaufmo before Ribbit purely because in episode seven, Ragatha asks about "the people in the cellar... like Kaufmo, and Ribbit...?" Yes that's weak, but there's literally nothing about them anywhere. Hopefully episode nine will give us more Kaufmo/Ribbit lore.
Then there's also these four freaks; Grinchilda, two unnamed characters and Yucko, who would have to have both arrived and abstracted somewhere in here.
So, key take aways?
1. Ragatha has watched six people who showed up after her die and NOT gone crazy about it, most resilient mind haver ever
2. Gangle and Zooble have never known Jax before he became the person he is now
3. Depending on what direction Kinger held their head in episode one, Zooble has never seen an abstraction
4. Whatever the hell Caine had going on in between those two green lines must have been hell to kill five people that quickly
