The Fifth of The Feral Drabbles

“Don’t be scared, Pretty. You know I would never hurt you.

Just let me in. Don’t you want me to take care of you?

Ignoring me won’t make me go away; you can’t get rid of me that easily. I’m attached to you now, whether you like it or not. Our bond can never be broken. You’re mine and I’m yours, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are never taken away from me again.

Pretty, why are you crying? You should be overjoyed! I’m not going to leave you ever again!

Oh, I get it! They’re tears of joy, aren’t they? You’re just as ecstatic as I am to know we’ll no longer be apart, and now with this newfound bond, I’ll be able to touch you! Isn’t that exciting?

I’ll be honest, Pretty, I’ve longed to know what your skin feels like beneath my fingertips. For too long my gentle brushes have simply passed right through you. I want to feel you pressed against me. I want to hold you in my arms both in the most innocent of ways, and also in the most intimate. I’ll finally be able to make you feel so good.

You’d like that, wouldn’t you? Now, I’ll no longer have to stand by and watch those others who have been ridiculously unworthy of you touch you. No one will ever lay their filthy hands on you again. No one but me is allowed to touch you.

I’d do anything you’d want. I’ll admit, when I still drew breath, I was quite a selfish lover, but I’ve learned from my mistakes. I’ve spent too long fantasizing about burying my face between those plush thighs of yours to not want to take my time with you, and indulge in every desire you’ve ever had. I’ve seen how frustrated the others always leave you, and I’ll make sure that you’re satisfied in every way I can.

Yes, that was me. I couldn’t stand the sight of him touching what’s mine. He never deserved you. Besides, you didn’t know what he was like when you weren’t around.

I took the liberty to follow him. I just had to know why you preferred his company, and seriously Pretty, you should have heard the shit he would talk about with his friends behind your back. It’s a shame someone seemed to pick them off one by one…

Yes, Pretty, that was also my doing. I couldn’t have scum walking this earth who could so easily disrespect My Pretty, now could I? Sometimes being what I am has its perks.

I am a little shocked, though. I have always been told that I’m quite handsome, especially when I was alive, but I guess I don’t suit everyone’s tastes. Unfortunate that I only care about yours, but you don’t seem to desire my looks.

You’ve gone awfully silent all of a sudden. That means I’m right, doesn’t it? You aren’t attracted to me like I thought you would be.

Your breathing just picked up when you said that. Are you, perchance, lying?

Oh, Pretty, it’s okay. I’m so in tune with your body and your every reaction, I can tell when you’re being dishonest with yourself. I’m just happy to know that my theory is wrong. You do find me attractive, don’t you?

I’m all yours, Pretty. You know that? Everything that I am, belongs to you. I just want to take my time loving you, and getting to cherish you like you’ve always wanted. Like you’ve always deserved.

So, please, won’t you open the door?

Hhhheeyyy so I'm back on the Pikmin fix.

Specifically, back to the Wraith AUs.

SO here are the designs I cooked for some shapeshifting Water and Plasm wraith AUs!

Obviously, with how old Pikmin is, this has definitely been done before, but I'd just like to put my own spin on it!

My idea for these two is their constant struggle to keep up their more human-like forms contradicts the monstrous forms they're most comfortable in.

Why they would even want to be human-like in the first place is up for interpretation but my thoughts were they'd want some form of connection, rather than isolating themselves.

The Waterwraith's design is heavily based on art depictions of Umibōzu, the Japanese yokai the wraith is actually based off of, while the Plasm Wraith is more simplistic and keeps to it's original design, yet it's ears resemble a Nyūdō.

The Plasm Wraith is more stable with its shapeshifting as it's demonstrated the ability to shapeshift in Pikmin 3. Though here its unable to change certain features like it's hole and it's core, which is always vulnerable.

The Waterwraith, on the other hand, is always unable to hold its shape and will fall apart within seconds if not held together. In it's partial form, the Water wraith has purple ripples along his form since they're unable to keep the transparent/dimensional form it's known for.

Both wraiths are more comfortable in the partial forms, but are always vulnerable unless they do their full form.

I decided to give Water a Bulbmin since they only appear in the Submerged Castle. It just felt right.

Plasm, though, is lowkey scared of Pikmin after the Koppaites happened.

Collin, Honey Wraith (Mixed Wraith AU)

Honey Wraiths are the poor children of the Wraith ecosystem, and have also pretty much gone extinct (Except for Collin that is). These Wraiths have the basic body shape of the Water Wraith, but remove the Dump Truck it has for its legs, in fact, remove half of the legs and replace them with an infinitely dripping down mess of honey. In fact, make its whole body out of honey, and give it wings made out of honey. That’s what the Honey Wraith looks like. 

The Honey Wraith has several bad things about it. For starters, it can’t walk or run, it has to fly everywhere, and this Wraith doesn’t have infinite stamina. It also shares the being allergic to water thing that the Oil Wraith has. It also tends to have one (Or both) of its eyes forced closed. Though, in good news, if a creature eats the Honey Wraith, they gain energy or biomass. This Wraith is pretty much a punching bag in the ecosystem. Hell, PIKMIN CAN JUST EAT IT AND BE FINE. 

It’s also affected heavily by Lumiknolls.

(More art below, and also the story on how in the world THIS happened to our boi, Collin)

Collin was the last member of the Rescue Corps to become a Wraith. After watching as his friends go missing, one by one, he decides to look for them himself. Olimar catches him before he leaves but doesn’t stop him (Much to Olimar’s later regret). Collin lands, and looks all day, eventually trying to call it quits near the end of the day. However, he’s attacked by several creatures, and runs into a cave. The Beagle isn’t responding to his calls, and now the poor man is stranded in a cave. Even worse, his helmet took a hit, and he’s slowly being killed from oxygen poisoning. 

Though, Nova finds him, and in his last few minutes before passing out, comforts the poor guy (invisibly, by the way. Collin has no idea she did this). Then, the Honey Wraith inside of Nova takes over, and performs a Fully Direct Transformation, which works, and turns Collin into a Honey Wraith. It leaves a flower for him, and leaves the man alone in the cave. Collin is left with his memories, and wanders the world to try and find any of his crew.

Collin's personality doesn't change one bit. He's still the same dude as he was before, but this time he's physically worse off. But hey, at least he's happy!

Treasure Wraith

So I've seen people make Wraiths, specifically ones based on Pom Wraith. I decided to hop on board and make my own Wraith :3

This is the Treasure Wraith, or Schnauz as a Wraith cause he needs more love. He has an odd, shiny purpley coloured body that's both goo and solid but also magnetic. This allows him to be able to suck up any treasure he comes across and add it to himself, this allows him to grow. He has a lot of gold materials on him to confuse anyone who may try and hunt him down and kill him since both his core and the gold material are the same colour.

He can switch out treasures when he needs. Say if he needs an arm, he can swap out whatever one of his tendrils is holding for one of the robot arms. He's quite skittish and protective of his treasure, often fleeing quickly if he sees or hears you. The biggest downsides to him are that he's easily spotted because of his shiny textures, he's quite large and he makes a fair amount of noise when running. The upsides are he's highly magnetic towards treasure items, the inside of his body is extremely toxic and can suffocate or poison you and he can excrete a gas similar to sulfuric acid

If you're someone who's studied the Pikmin 4 treasures, you'd be able to recognise the treasures he has on him right now

S.H.E.I.L.D AU!

So some background information…

I, along with the lovely @silversablinovaallday, love to do a few Roleplays with one another to forget the world is burning. Despite her being Canadian, we get along well and make fun stories!

But if I have to hear another thing about the Canadian McDonald’s that is Tim Hortons-

Anyways I have a good old headcannon that Yuri was “Wraith” as a teen, spending nights fighting the local triad gangs in Chinatown. Some info on that….

She had/has no superpowers

Her suit was homemade from one of those sick motorbike suits she found at a thrift store.

Her mother taught her how to fight, mostly defense, which she excels at, but had learned most of her offense styles from fighting gang members.

Her main choice of weapon was honestly whatever was long and strong enough to act as a staff or whatever was small enough to throw.

She was trained in sword combat, but does not use it because she did not want to be a killer.

Left yellow ribbons at the scene of the crime she stopped/prevented

Was given the name “Wraith” in the English translation and among the local police department. She was mostly called “幻象” meaning ghost, illusion or phantom.

She was discovered by Captain Stacy, who was actually the only positive father figure she had in her life, who convinced her to do more with her life then run around as a vigilante.

She left for the Marines soon after she was discovered, leaving wraith behind as an urban legend.

So building on that! The S.H.EI.L.D AU takes place shortly after her time serving in the U.S Marines. Another bit of information…

Yuri broke her no killing rule during and after she was forced to shoot a member of her unit, and someone she considered a close friend, when he sold out the unit to the enemy causing the deaths of three other members.

Yuri was a medic, she wanted nothing to do with killing out of a promise she made to herself. But she killed him to save the rest of her unit and left shortly after her tour ended.

So the AU picks up after this, normally this is the point where Yuri joins the police department, but instead of the usual timeline, Yuri is picked up by S.H.E.I.L.D in hopes of bringing “Wraith” back into action.

Yuri is hesitant at first, but after considering her options and realizing she’s already taken a life and can do greater things defending others globally, she agrees. She is then gifted a brand new suit and rebranded as Agent Watanabe, aka the “Wraith”.

Have some more ideas to go with it. Mostly with Peter starting out as Spiderman and Yuri training him, but that’ll probably come later. For now, this is what I got.

Maddie's core dropped into her stomach at the black, wispy figure in front of her.

Her baby boy. An actual Wraith.

He hovered in front of her, seeming to almost shake, and she could feel the emotions coming off of him in waves, positive and negative, nostalgia and trauma and hope and so much fear, all of it volatile and overwhelming.

She drifted a bit closer, cupped her hands around his intangible face, tried to wipe away some of the tear tracks that seemed to be etched permanently into his cheeks, and some of the turbulence he was putting out calmed a bit.

But could the wispy figure in front of her even feel her touching him?

She lowered her head to his, eyes squeezed shut, and whispered, "Baby... what happened to you?"

Where Vlad turns Danny into a more typical, horror-movie, haunted-house type of ghost, and imprisons the ghosts of Danny's family and friends for a number of years. When they're finally freed and see Danny for the first time, this is what happens.
