oh man. This is on MoE playlist technically, just not for the reasons the song pertails. like the song is very negative but I kept it on MoE for two reasons. 1) BANGER and I wanted to listen to it. 2) the chorus and baseline.

The baseline is just soooooooo sudden realization to me. and the chorus is...sigh very people pleaser Jimmy meets extreamly devoted Tango. I wouldn't realy consider this a canon song though, its more for me :/

Alas though, I can't write angst like I can listen to it, so this a happier ending to the vibes of this song. Imagine they were a little toxic, and this is them sorting it out.

"Are we gonna keep doing this?" Jimmy asks. He turns his head, cheek pressed to the pillow, lashes brushing the cotton and catching Tango's heart again. "If you want." And that's the truth. He doesn't let it be anything more than that. Jimmy sighs, lifting his hand to where Tango's rests between them. Their palms glide and their fingers twine together. He looks at them, then Tango, then the ceiling again. "I don't think I can," he says softly. Breaking the news really. Tango can't let himself feel anything about that. "Okay." "No, not okay." Jimmy sits up, a sharp and sudden movement that makes their hands twist as he puts weight on his elbow. The sheets fall from his chest and he hovers over Tango. "Can't we—" Storms in his eyes now, conflicted lighting and angry thunder. Tango drinks it in. If Jimmy is a storm then Tango's a boat, willing to capsize if it means being kissed by waves. "Can't we be more? I want more." His voice drops, and Tango's breath snags in his throat. Hope is a horrible thing, like moths eating his soul, but this isn't hope. This is confirmation. "Let's be more," Jimmy finishes lamely, as if Tango would ever tell him no.
