Everyone who knows they will suffer from a Trump presidency is very angry and afraid and disappointed and heartbroken. All of those feelings are valid.
A lot of people who didn’t vote or voted third party or wrote in names feel the same way and regret their votes. That is understandable. My question goes to those people - what are you going to do now?
You can’t take back or change your votes - god almighty, I wish you could. But you can’t. It doesn’t look like impeachment is likely (but continue to press for it anyways, especially if he loses either of his upcoming lawsuits. Unlike third party votes, a slim chance is better than none). So, I ask again - what now?
Now, you’ve learned a hard lesson. You know better now. So, for a third time - what now?
Now, you need to stand with those who will be hurt by Trump. With women, PoC, the disabled, the young, the poor, LGBT+ people, all of them.
52% of you did not vote for Trump. Don’t take this lying down. Fight for your rights and fight against him.
