Writeblr Intro bc I’m cool like that
Hello, hello. My name is Han (obviously) and I’m also not at all great, unlike my url suggests. I’m a new writeblr, though not new to tumblr, and I’m really excited to get into this community properly! c: I like writing a range of things, but it mostly ranges from really dramatic and contemplative stuff to more of what I was writing like in year 4. I’d say my target audience is basically anyone that has a brain, though I guess people around my age (so mid-teens-ish) is mostly my target. I also cannot spell to save my life, so I appologise for any mistakes :c
I’m currently working on a few things, which are (in no particular order):
An Elf Called Gweyr (the working-est of working titles): In a world where elves and humans were at war, there lived a man. He had been trodden on and pushed by both sides, and he decided to fight back. Acaeus joins the rebels - A secret organisation which aims to take down the human government from the inside. He works easily and stealthily steals documents from the government. He ranked high with the rebels, and quickly gained the nickname The Shadow. That was, until, he stole his most important thing yet: An elven child called Gweyr.
Hearth: Everyone in the world is born with a number, that defines what power they will eventually develop. Babies normally start with a small number, a 000002 perhaps, and some adult grow to a number of 975821. These numbers evolve over time, if their powers become stronger or take on certain specific traits, or if something fundementally different happens to them. Everyone has one. Except for Violet. All her life she has been treated like an outcast, a defect, but then she finds out the truth. She is more powerful than anyone would’ve guessed.
The Truth Of Toni Elkan: Toni has a secret she had known since she was 13 years old. And she has kept it a secret. She doesn’t want to die in Armageddon. She doesn’t want to get disfellowshipped, to never see her family or friends again. But then she meets the girl with the honey-coloured hair and the warmest eyes. And she no longer cares.
(EDIT: Adding this bc I forgot about it and I’m so sorry ma lil deities D: ) De Brevitate Vitae: The world was new. Young deities ruled the land, having been created from ancient Gods before them. Acelina is a normal girl, going about her days like the average mortal... until she’s thrust into a world she barely believed in the first place.
Both An Elf Called Gweyr and Hearth are a lil bit based on some Write-It-Motherfuckers writing prompts, which you can find here and here. The Truth Of Toni Elkan is just my obsessive research into Jehovah’s Witnesses, courtesy of Telltale Athiest’s youtube channel, which I 14/10 recommend. He also does other cult stuff, which has slowly been really making me want to write smth else about someone in a cult, but since I wasn’t brought up anywhere remotely close to a cult, I have no idea what to do with that :’) The Original Gods was a literal dream I had about a world that had just been created looking for more deities and shit... and I kinda love it.
My favourite writeblr’s who I’m going to tag despite the fact that they don’t know I exist, and hey, I love them, so:
Sorry if you all find this incredibly annoying or anything D:
@write-it-motherfuckers (Because their prompts have genuinely saved me so many times, and their just so sweet)
@tabithahallows Idk if its actually a writeblr, but her Pretending to Live/Hate books started off my writing obsession x: imsorryifiannoyyouiszufcbzdsfg
