my boyfriend and i have recently taken over the discord server we met in and are trying to revive and grow the community there -- its a lovely cosy server open to fans of writing, art and character design, anyone who wants to make new friends to create and explore their imaginary worlds with or find peers to review and read their work

we also now have the facilities to post your own long-form stories, comics, galleries or blogs for other people to enjoy and react to in our own community hub (but truth be told rn, just between you and me, it's a lil bit empty -- and we'd love to have your incredible creativity to fill it)

The Liftic Coffee House - a discord server for readers and writers of litfic

Hello writeblr - if, like me, you've been desperate to find more writing (and reading spaces) that focus on literary fiction, I'm trying to at last kick-start my own community for anyone interested!

Open to anyone over 18 within even just a passing interest in the genre, and intended to be a community space were everyone's input is valued, and, more recently, I'm hoping to start up a book club in the Autumn so wanted to put it out there again! Join here!

Update from Quill!

Howdy all you lovely folks! Surprise, Quill isn’t dead, I promise!

I’m just. REALLY busy. Fun fact: Quill’s a professional carpenter now! With full-time hours spent lugging heavy lumber and hammering and cutting and using an assortment of other power tools and nonsense as they build buildings, Quill is pretty limited on free time at the moment, and most of that is spent completely tuckered out--so writeblr has been put on the back burner for the past while, and likely will continue to be so at least for the foreseeable future.

Despite that, Quill has been making significant progress on the Anchored Souls series, with book one undergoing its second revision and book two’s first draft over halfway completed. I’ve also been having a lot of fun poking at CIRCUIT and an AU concept, so there are plenty of goodies to look forward to when I start posting again!

And Quill is still as chatty as ever. They love to casually rant about writing or art or science facts with cool peoples, and they have been notably more active on their discord server! Want to stay in contact, and get access to awesome creation prompts, project discussions, and a place to share your creations while also getting to see sneak peeks of my own? (I’m totally fine with lurkers too by the way, just make sure to be respectful of the rules~)

Fascination Street is a server for writers and readers of anything gothic, horror or macabre. It’s open to all over 18 from dedicated gothic authors to those just with an emerging interest. This is the very beginning of the server - we cannot wait to form a community of gothic writers!
