HELLO!! welcome to the writeblr discord server!

this is a discord server for all writers of tumblr - there's an 18+ part of the server, a segment dedicated to fanfic writers, channel's for nanowrimo and camp nanowrimo, an inspiration section, writing sprints, and more! and, as this is my first time making a discord server of this scale, any ideas you guys have upon joining i am more than happy to hear out and most likely include!!

i want this to have as many people as possible - i want to make as many writer friends as i can!! please join!

NaNoWriMo live write-in (hosted on Discord)

Join our write-in for extra motivation to continue NaNoWriMo or to work on a writing project you have. Get inspired by your fellow writers to get through NaNoWriMo. Writing together has many benefits among greater accountability for your writing schedule and the possibility to get others interested in your story.

You can video stream yourself writing (or not), everyone will be muted, so we can concentrate on writing. We can chat over text and motivate each other through writing sprints. The goal is to have fun writing together, there’s no pressure to finish a piece or reach a certain word count. Remember: It doesn't need to be perfect, it is great because only you can write your story. Important note: Time will be adjusted to find a date and time frame in which most participating writers are available.

hello! welcome to the interest gathering introduction post for the writeblr discord server!

what is this?

this is a discord server for all of writeblr to interact, chat, and share with one another! it’s where people can chill in voicechat with one another while working on their wip’s, or where they can do writing sprints to challenge each other to write!

what does this server have to offer?

that’s part of what this post is for! i want this to have something for everyone—and that means i need to gather ideas. i have some of my own that i plan to implement, such as either making it 18+ or having an 18+ section of the server to make sure everyone is comfortable, and having an inspiration area where people can post images, songs, movies, etc. that give them inspiration to write.

but, if i want this to have something for everyone, that means i need to hear from everyone that may be interested in joining! if you have an idea for the server that you’d like to share, please feel free to either respond to this post with it, to send me an ask, or even to DM me!

how can i join?

the server is not yet available, as i’m gathering interest and ideas with this very post, but my plan is to open up the server to others on march 15! once it’s open, i will include a link to join on this post as well as create a new post to share the word!

You can also help us come up with fun writing prompts and challenges, give us feedback, and suggest changes. Thanks to some helpful writing bots you can keep track of your WIPs, organise writing sprints and become inspired to write. Our self-programmed bot keeps track of our orders (posts tagged #writeblrcafe) so you also have early access to all posts by talented writers before they will be reblogged to our blog.

Hello Writeblr community! My name is Cassidy Jackson and I run a discord server for those in the community looking for people to get in touch with. This server has been up for awhile, but has only just gotten finished and so to celebrate, I made a tumblr for it.
