i love writing about fantastical things in everyday places. demonic possession in a gas station bathroom at one in the morning. sirens picking up victims behind a walmart. a serial killer and someone he kidnapped getting pizza at sams. if something intense is happening and i cannot imagine static-y trash country music playing over a broken speaker nearby, whats the point?

Writer Relates

I’m not too sure if I’m the only one this happens to but have you guys ever just taken a break from writing to submerse yourself to read or do anything else?

Like you could be out of ideas, drained from writing, writer’s block, seriously anything. You just need a breather.

You read all the stories/imagines/fanfictions/literally anything you can get your hands on for maybe days-weeks-months at a time and then suddenly while you’re reading someone else’s story WHAM you just feel like writing again.

Ideas flow out of your head like a goddamn dam broke somewhere in your brain and all the water is rushing out to your hand.

Your passion to write is seasoning and flambeing the paper/keyboard/phone as you start to write again...then you feel like you’re the comeback kid.

Is that just me?
