I received something beautiful in the mail today, which was ironically part of the title of this zine. I'd never really heard of a zine before but someone I follow (http://sapere-aude.tumblr.com/) was making one and it sparked my interest from the beginning. In fact, this person has sparked my interest from the beginning. She is so incredibly unique and constantly inspires me. I found out recently that we live probably 5 minutes from each other and I was in awe that someone so adventurous and unpredictable could live so close to the place I tend to see as boring. From what I've read, a zine is a small magazine for a select audience. It is my pleasure to have been a part of the audience for "I want to write you something beautiful." Although I asked her to send me a copy, I'm thrilled that she did although she does not follow me back and I may have seemed creepy. In my eyes this was a memoir of love and the desire to create something just as beautiful as one person can make you feel. It left me feeling good, and even hopeful about life.
