churchgate and the idea of Mike having religious guilt from his father is an interesting character storyline in general, but with wsqksyncgate and "Angel" by Madonna playing over Will getting his powers and how the lyrics align with Mike's reaction is so JUICY. Like the concept of Will being Mike's salvation in the sense of freeing him from shame and from the harm of his father/conformity, and it all happens in this big, high stakes, breathtaking moment... it's just too good
