He couldn’t believe his eyes, a blue woman..laying on the ground beside a nearby farm. She seemed to be unconscious. Because of this he couldn’t just leave her. Johnny picked her up and placed her on some hay in the same farm waiting for the woman to wake up.
“ Jeez...I hope she is okay.. ” He muttered to himself.
Notes: This takes place in a world where Jasper has been uncorrupted and redeemed; assumably, Lapis is back on Earth.
Talking to Lapis after everything was proving to be a difficult feat for Jasper. Nobody was pushing her to do it except herself, at least, not verbally. She could tell that everybody was waiting for it to happen though.
Jasper didn’t want to talk to Lapis in front of everyone. They wouldn’t understand. What happened between her and Lapis had been personal. Garnet made Jasper realize that their fusion had been unhealthy, but even she, as a perfect fusion, could not understand the feelings behind the toxicity of her and Lapis’ relationship.
Her and Lapis had not created love in the depths of their fusion; they had created a weapon — Malachite.
That could still change though. They could change.
Right?
The rest of the gems were out on a mission together, and Steven had Peridot occupied with something or another at the Temple. When their attention was no longer on her, Jasper snuck away from them and headed over to the beach, where it all began.
In a way, she hoped that Lapis would be there, but she knew that the odds were slim. Jasper was merely reminiscing ghosts of the past as she walked down the shore, water gently splashing against her boots.
The ocean looked beautiful at this time of night. Strange, how it brought her comfort despite the atrocities created within it. Jasper gazed at it for a moment longer than she should have before continuing on her way.
Strange. If there was a word to describe the Earth, it would be that.
how did you feel about garnet adopting the kitten? and do you think there were other reasons?
Also what do you think the future of the off-colors are?
I think it was ADORABLE, but while I love me a good theory, I don’t think Cat Steven is gonna have play a part in the plot, or at least not for a while.
Garnet misses taking care of someone cute and vulnerable, so I imagine Cat Steven will do a lot of things Season 1 Steven would do, to kind of act as a mirror and show how much Steven’s matured and grown.
It goes to show how much Garnet turned out to be like Rose. She’s stood firm as a leader, but she loves taking care of others most of all, and she’s more than willing to pass on the torch of the former in favor of the latter.
As for the Off Colors, it’s safe to assume they’ll become an ally to the Crystal Gems. Whether they’ll officially join the CGs or not, I doubt -- what with them not having any connection to Rose Quartz like all the CGs did.

That... Was not the answer that Jazmin had expected.
“You killed them?” Jazmin repeated, frowning. The concept was not foreign to her, she understood it. In this world, sometimes, it was kill or be killed, especially when it came to close ones turning.
Jazmin thought of it as putting them out of their suffering. She had friends in the past, who were in the process of turning, beg her to kill them before that could happen. It happened. She just wasn’t sure if the scrawny girl in front of her was capable of it.
It was obvious that nobody else was here though and this girl must have survived on her own somehow. Sighing, Jazmin said, “Alright, stop looking at me like I’m going to hurt you. I’m not looking for trouble either, I just wanted to see if I could get some supplies, but...”
She scanned over the mostly vacant store and shook her head.
“Looks like I wasn’t the first to have that idea.”

The gem was unsure about all of this; Amethyst told her that she needed to talk this out with Lapis but would she be able to talk to the one who trapped in their fusion Malachite? Jasper pondered while she rubbed the back of her neck. The purple gem did say the other has change over a new leaf? Didn’t know what that meant but maybe it meant as in changing? She hummed while she walked down the stairs of the temple slowly only to notice the blue gem near by. She took a long look at her before she walked towards her.
