I noticed something (I think?)

In chapter 28, on Athanasia’s birthday, there’s a faint purpleish glow around Blackie

And in chapter 29, when Lucas visits her and they visit Blackie together, he used a warming spell on Athanasia so she isn’t cold, right?

And his magic is the same colour as the glow around Blackie!

So I wonder if Lucas was using his magic on Blackie so Athy could stay with him during her birthday/not be hurt by her own magic?
