It’s the halfway mark at the Dakar Rally 2017. X-raid Team and the MINI John Cooper Works Dakar Rally take a rest day from working hard to embrace the challenge of South America’s rough terrain in the Bolivian city of La Paz. See their progress at @minimotorsport.
Facing some of the toughest terrain that South America has to offer, the X-Raid team and the MINI John Cooper Works Rally are prepared to embrace the challenge of the 2017 Dakar Rally.
The first real stage of #Dakar2021 are done. The Dakar Rally is off and running in Saudi Arabia after the first full stage ended at the new bivouac situated in Bisha. Monster Energy Honda Team rider Kevin Benavides finishes second on the day and now lies in second place overall in the general standings trailing Toby Price on the KTM. The 2021 Dakar Rally got off to a tough start with a 623-kilometre stage – including 277 kilometers against the clock – which turned out to be both highly-technical and navigationally complex.
At the car classes Sainz wins, ahead of Peterhansel. Carlos Sainz went on to take victory on day one after a close battle with team-mate Peterhansel. Sainz now tops the overall standings with an eight-second lead over Peterhansel.
Rally Kazakhstan - Stéphane and Andrea Peterhansel started with a little bit of bad luck in the beginning, but day by day they improved, getting more and more confident and at the end finished 2. Place. Thanks the X-raid MINI John Cooper Works Buggy run excellent.
