Day 11: Symbolism/Themes

I was pondering this one for a while trying to figure out what I could do for this day when I realized, moodboards are kinda just a TON of symbolism and themes right??? So why not make moodboards for my “big 3” dnd ocs!!!!!

So thats exactly what I did and I’m still not great at doing moodboards but I tried my hardest! :D sorry if any of the quotes get crunched into oblivion by tumblr

Evalinn Asher by @frostcrystal¥€ They can do dark magic (Still learning) and make things appear like weapons or items, etc.

Caylee by @Caylee Ann is a lovely sweet elf who journeys with her siblings. Little is known about her

Vixie by @Sukiartandgacha they can talk to animals, Shapeshift, good at repairing stuff, and has a pet wolf and can do magic

Finally finished a reference pic for one of my favorite ocs, Xadian!!!! I mostly left this peice to flats and some important textures (like the fading speckle effect) but I think it turned out wonderfully!

His story is long and kinda complicated to answer all in one post but I’d gladly answer questions if asked about him but here are some basic facts and tidbits to go off of!

Currently he shares a body with one of my other ocs, Jasiker Willowspeak, but pictured here is his true form when their souls arent sharing a body, its also the form that jasiker sees anytime he looks in a mirror or in phantom form lingering around when Xadian isnt in control of the body. He’s very annoying like that.

He is canonically in love with jasiker, albiet in a very toxic and manipulative way. He’s terrible and i love him for it.

In regards to dnd mechanically speaking, he’s a frankenstein of homebrew imagination but can be chalked up to a shadow sorcerer for basic class

I found some time to color a sketch i’ve made last week end

uh so there may have been another startouch elf (or maybe just a mixed elf?) in

this image

i was looking at it and noticed that there was a skywing in the bottom left

right beside him is a white haired elf, at first i thought moonshadow but?? blue skin

i fiddled with the image a bit and got this

this elf is definitely a shade of blue, and we dont see any wings on him as all the other skywing elves have their wings up

ANd then i noticed that right beside the skywing elves in the back-- there's a moonshadow elf

so now we know blue corner elf isnt blue just because of the lighting due to the moonshadow elf still being moonshadow-toned

could they be a startouch or a mixed elf like

this elf. theyre a sunfire with white hair. i think. the only two elves that (we know) have white hair are moonshadow and startouch so maybe this sunfire is mixed with one of those??

another possibility for our blue friend here

is that theyre a sea elf???? we've never seen one at this point so we dont knos what they look like? they could also be a skywing moonshadow (moonwing? skyshadow?) mix

iM really excited about tdp elves okay

what are your thoughts on this?
