THIS IS NOT A RADQUEER FRIENDLY POST
Repost of my art because the first image was shit quality
This is my art about my BIID
This came to me in a dream
Pugenday, Confusion 32, 3190
If I won a huge lottery jackpot, I would find a doctor willing to take my legs off. I would then go buy some nice prosthetics. My quality of life would be much higher, I believe.
I'd also save the legs for anyone that wanted to try them. Sample the forbidden fruit and whatnot.
Anyway. I am drained mentally and emotionally, so it's probably time to go to bed. Goodnight, my friends.
if it was possible, i would like to change my form in all kinds of ways – that optimistic, utopian vision of full morphological freedom. but i can't even do something that's medically possible now. i can't remove a part of my body that i feel completely alienated from. and it should be enough that i don't want it! yes, i do feel an inescapable mental torment and i think there's probably something wrong with how my brain recognizes that limb...but that doesn't matter! it's part of me and i don't want it to be. that should be enough.
Xenomalady
Xenomaladies are diseases, mental illnesses that are not possible (for now) to acquire in the real world. These are fictive diseases(/mental illnesses) where people can identify with.
(Xenomaldies who are mental are called ''xenopsyri")
Example: hanahaki disease " is a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear."
Perhaps it's the hoof dysphoria, perhaps it's the xenomelia, perhaps a bit of both, but I'm so incredibly frustrated that I can't replace these dumb human legs with something that feels more.... natural, I guess? I know the reality of having no lower legs isn't great (to start, there's phantom pain and a huge monetary cost involved) but in an ideal world it would be possible to get these extreme modifications regardless. The only thing holding us back is the idea that an amputee can't possibly live as good of a life as a non-amputee - a result of the general ableism that permeates society.
In many ways it would make my life harder, at least as the world is right now. But I do genuinely think I would be happier if I could walk around like this
(Note: If you reply to this post with amputee fetishism or you encourage me to chop off my legs I will block you and curse you, I literally hate you people so much)
TRANSABLED (RECLAIMED)!
—> transabled (reclaimed) is a reclaimed version of transabled that is used by people with BIID , xenomelia , and similar disorders to described how they need or want to be / feel like they should be disabled . this flag is not to be used by those who don't have BIID , xenomelia , or a similar disorder , or at least some sort of dysphoria that could qualify as being a symptom of having the disorder . you do not have to be professionally diagnosed with any of the disorders or identify with / as any of the disorders to use it , but you have to at least not just want to be disabled because you think it's "quirky" or "cool" .
