{ Lazy Days }

Here is the 200+ word drabble for the second place winner in my giveaway, @xhitorabux!

Pairing: Shizukida Word Count: 356 Rating: K

  Masaomi poked his boyfriend’s cheek. “Shizuo-san, it’s time to wake up. It’s almost the afternoon.” When the man barely stirred, he climbed on top of him and shook his shoulders. “Should I kiss you awake?” He leaned down and kissed Shizuo, smiling when he got a response. Although, it was more of sloppily rubbing their lips together than any kind of coordinated movement.

     “I made us some breakfast, and I waited all this time to eat a full meal, so get your ass out of bed.”

  The younger blond yelped as he was suddenly dangling in the air by two hands on his hips. He held onto the arms below him so he didn’t flip over, and blushed when his lover’s impossibly cute, sleepy face ended up in front of him.

     “Okay, now kiss me properly.”

  Without waiting for a reply, Masaomi kissed Shizuo softly, glad when he felt the smirking lips move to his rhythm once again. After a while, he pulled away and smiled, giving the man one last peck before getting off the bed and sauntering out of the room.

  After a short breakfast, during which Masaomi talked about ninety percent of the time, rambling on about the previous day, they cleaned up the dishes and went over to the couch to watch a movie, deciding to have a lazy day.

  About halfway into the movie, feeling something slump against his side, Shizuo looked over at Masaomi, grinning as he saw his boyfriend with his eyes shut and mouth slightly parted. He often wondered where all of that energy came from, but then he would remember how the younger man sometimes slept in late or took naps in the middle of the day, when he wasn’t at work.

  With a happy smile, Shizuo pulled Masaomi closer and returned his attention to the romantic movie the other had picked. Even though he still feared hurting Masaomi, now he was sure that he had made the right choice in being with him. After contentedly being together for months, Shizuo couldn’t imagine being happy without the little ball of energy beside him.

     “I love you, Masaomi.”

Toshiro looked down and he sighed.”I am on a mission technically, so I can say they will be able to reach me and if you let me ...I can take care of things as need be. “He said as he looked downward.  “So maybe I can convince a month or so more”He said as he smiled to him.

  Masaomi pouted. “What kind of question is that, huh? Of course I’m not just imagining things. Something inside my body poked me really hard, and it couldn’t be anything other than our child.”

  The blond pulled up his shirt a little more and grabbed Izaya’s hand, placing it on his slightly protruding stomach. “I doubt you would be able to see anything. They aren’t strong enough for a kick to visibly show on my skin—I don’t think so, at least.”

  After a few moments of silence, Masaomi smiled, feeling a few kicks. “There they go again. Hey, little baby, don’t bust out of there just yet. You still have a few months before you’re ready for the outside world.” He moved Izaya’s hand directly over the spot. “Ouch, that kind of hurts... This is so crazy, isn’t it? There’s a human living inside of me...”

Visits ||  Orihara

He had been back in the world of the living for nearly a full day when he made it to  Orihara’s apartment. Knowing that he always had a full open visitation privileges while he was here. He had taken about two months off from his duties as captain, to visit some people her in the world of the living. And he was hoping that  Orihara would allow him the entire time of his stay. 

He knew that Orihara knew of him being a captain, as well as a Soul Reaper. And had the ability to see him in his true form as well. Not just when he was in his gegai.  He was about to knock when he stopped when he heard voices on the other side.  He stopped but then continued after the other had left.  “ Orihara?”He called out hoping the other would receive him ...Even though it had been about 6 months since his last visit.
