Iced Out

Xiao Pai walked around, and although she was looking for help- she was far too afraid to actually ask.

She bit her lip and looked around nervously as people passed by her. She wasn’t far from the Junk Shop, but she figured going to the Junk Shop over this sort of thing was kind of dumb. It was such a small issue....

Finally though, as she saw someone walking she got up the courage to ask.

“E-Excuse me!” She said quickly to the person, giving a small bow. “Do you think....do you think you could maybe help me with this, yes?” She asked, holding out an anklet to the person that had a broken clasp on it. “It...it broke, you see. My mama gave it to me, so I do not want it to be like this.....but if you cannot that’s okay! I’m just wondering.” She said with a small smile, although extremely nervous as to what the person was going to say.

Dan the Hobo - Dan + Xiao Pai

The weather sure had been nice lately! And thanks to going back to only two jobs, Dan had plenty of free time to enjoy strolling around and enjoying the changing fall colours! Of course, it did nothing to help his grumbling stomach, and he mumbled to himself as he tried to decide if he should try and find a cheap place to eat. It was still a bit early to hit up the night club he normally haunted, so where would he even go?

As he wandered around outside, he got a whiff of something delicious tasting. Someone must have been having a picnic or something... He glanced around until he spotted a rather cute girl sitting by herself outside. My my. A cutie AND food? Was it his lucky day?

Of course, that didn’t mean she would be willing to share, but that had never stopped Dan from trying before. It wasn’t about to this time either. Putting on a friendly smile, he approached the girl with a wave of his hand.

“Hey there! That’s quite the nice spread you’ve got goin’ there! Did ya make it all yourself?”

Two white irises to signify innocent and purity and a single yellow tulip for cheerful thoughts were delivered along with a green card to Xiao Pai. The ditzy waitress was a dear friend of Frey, and she always saw her as someone innocent and deserving of much care and friendship. She might not be the best friend there is to have, what with her being gone a lot, but she hopes the flowers she sent could show her appreciation for the friendship that they shared.

“Don’t ever let anyone dull your sparkle.”

I hope these flowers bring a smile to your face as you receive them. Always remember that I’ll be here if you need a friend to rely on.

Skye was off to a slow start in the islands. Sure he’s sent one calling card in Arcadia, but in Leuda? Nothing so far. And so, here he was, able to roam around freely, leisurely. The cat cafe seemed like an interesting place to go to, especially if Chase spoke of it fondly. While the other thief preferred spending time with the cats, Skye eyed for the ladies who would no doubt be attracted to a cafe like that.

He kept to himself at first, sitting idly as he took his time deciding on what to order. Paying for something honestly left an awful taste in his mouth, but right now, he was Skye the civilian. Plus, it wasn’t like he was using money he got honestly.

A quick observation of the environment made him think this place would be an awful target for any thievery. The cats would make too much noise, and he personally wasn’t interested in getting anything from here. He sighs as he realizes this and concludes there wouldn’t be any merit to this place apart from flirting with the customers. He was about to call for a waitress to order when he sees someone stumble--

--quick to his feet, Skye catches the stumbling girl by the waist in one hand, and whatever it was she was holding on to with the other. A swift swinging motion after, and Skye was facing her directly, a perfected charming smile on is face.
