Having now finished the book it feels like Parker-Chan wants to suggest that Zhu has learned some mercy and is going to find a better path while creating a society that embraces differences in gender, sexuality, and ability, but then why base her at all on a real person who has a lengthy list of murders and purges on his wikipedia page? I would be very curious to see the in-universe wikipedia page for this Ming dynasty.

The Reunion of F4

After Hauze Lei (the talented and handsome DARREN CHEN) told childhood friend and F4 Leader Daoming Si (the talented and handsome DYLAN WANG) that he would pursue Shancai and that Si should be happy for them. Hauze Lei then convinced Shancai to turn off her phone and basically disappearing leaving Daoming Si chasing his own tail.

Ultimately Shancai reunited with Daoming Si, Lei accepted her choice and then supposedly due to family problems he left China for his home in Taiwan.

Here he returns to China and is reunited with his besties known as F4.

Hauze Lei was such a good guy. I'll never understand why he ended up alone having been rejected by both childhood love Jing and Shancai although technically he rejected Shancai. But I believe Lei did fall in love with Shancai but graciously stepped aside to give Si a chance. But when he decided he did want Shancai her heart was irrevocably Daoming Si's.

Description: Ximen and reader are dating in secret and reader gets jealous when her best friend, who knows she likes Ximen but doesn't know they're dating already, flirts with him.

Warnings: maybe some cursing, jealous reader, a bit cliché, Ximen's a bit oc-ish (first time writing about him)

The bell rang and you sighed, closing your book and looking in front of you.

"You're day-dreaming again." Someone called and you turned your head, smiling as you saw Ximen behind you, giving you a small smirk before grabbing his books and putting them in his bag.

"You're free tonight, right?" He asked, this time more in a whisper and you nodded, still smiling before turning around again.

"You're free to come by later." You said and you could swear that he was smiling (even when you weren't looking). You stood up, grabbing your bag before walking away after giving Ximen one more smile. You made your way through the halls to your locker before letting out a yelp when you felt an arm wrap around your neck, pulling you down. You looked to the side and saw your bestfriend, who smiled at you brightly. She let you go before walking backwards in front of you.

"So I just had another test that I completely blew and we have 5 task that I still have to finish even though 2 of them have to be finished by Monday and I've done nothing. Help me out~!" She whined and you laughed, shrugging.

"I already planned something tonight, sorry." "What? It's Friday! Honey, we're going to a party!" She exclaimed and you got ready to protest, but she was already gone. You sighed before getting your phone out and texting Ximen of your change of plans before continuing your way to your locker. Once you reached, you opened it and put your stuff in it before spotting a letter on he top shelve. You took it before smiling as you recognized the neat handwriting of Ximen. It was the same as usual, complementing how you looked today and on your new jacket (which matched his and he had bought), but even now it still made your heart flutter. You folded the letter, putting it in your bag before closing your locker again.

After school, you were quickly pulled home by (y/b/f) to change and you were shoved into a room with clothes that she had chosen. Now you weren't someone who wore dresses alot, so it was a bit weird when you noticed that it was a dress. You pulled it on, liking the way it hugged your curves . It was long enough to reach your knees and the (f/c) fabric was very soft on your skin, but the V-neck made you a bit embarrassed. £Ignoring that feeling, you put on some jewelry, including a ring that you got from Ximen before walking out.

"Oh, no! You are not wearing flats, put on these!" "I'm gonna brake my neck with those." You mumbled, looking at the stilettos in her hands.

"Well, then you'll have to find some eye-candy to hold onto." (y/b/f) said, still holding out the stilettos. You took them with a scowl, pulling them on your feet before stumbling slightly.

"Well, besides you almost falling, your legs and ass look great!" And with that, you made your way to a bar, taking around 20 minutes instead of 10, and as soon as you entered you noticed F4 (surrounded by girls as usual). You ignored the girls, being slightly used to it, and made your way to the bar, sitting down and ordering a drink. Before you knew it, you had downed 3 drinks and (y/b/f) had disappeared to God knows where. You payed no attention, scrolling through your phone and ignoring the man next to you. Then you heard a familiar laugh and looked up to see (y/b/f) next to Ximen, obviously flirting with him (which you noticed by Ximen's face).

Now you were slightly annoyed...

Your eyes stayed on the 2, keeping an eye on them before feeling jealousy take over as you watched (y/b/f) press herself against him. That's when his gaze travelled over the room and landed on you. And then you saw guilt in his eyes as he tried to get away from her grip, which was proven difficult, and (y/b/f) seemed oblivious. You stood up, walking there and frowned when you heard a part of their conversation (aka (y/b/f)'s one-sided talk).

"I don't care even care that (y/n) likes you. I mean, she's so weird. I mean who doesn't like to party? She's such an unsocial person..." She slurred and you could hear that she was slightly tipsy, but you could also see a nerve snap in Ximen's eyes as he pulled his arm away from her and make her pout. You reached the couple and smiled at Ximen before looking at (y/b/f) with a fake smile.

"(y/n)! We were just talking about you!" "Yeah, I heard. Now, would you mind to let go of my boyfriend?" You asked and she looked up before bursting into laughter, making you roll your eyes before you grabbed Ximen's tie. You pulled him up and crashed your lips against his before pulling away and looking at your friend.

"He's mine." You spoke as everyone stared at you, Ximen still shocked at what had just happened. When he recovered, he smirked before getting up and swinging his arm on your shoulders before leading you out of the bar, still smirking. Only when you got out did you realize what you had just done. Your hands flew to cover your mouth as you froze, staring at Ximen in shock.

"Why did I do that?! Oh my god, I am crazy!" You exclaimed and Ximen laughed, ruffling your hair.

"Don't worry about it. It was cute." He smiled, leaning down slightly to match your height and you flicked his forehead in annoyance. He just gave you a smile again, something you didn't see often to begin with, and you couldn't help but smile back at him.

'Wait, what if someone filmed it?" "Well, everyone will know that you consider me and I quote "yours", so..." He quoted, smirking as he repeated the same thing you had said in his best impression of you. You gave him a glare before pouting, crossing your arms over your chest.

"How am I going to go to school now." You whined and he scoffed, leaning down once more.

"Well, you could come as my girlfriend?" He suggested with a hint of mockery and you rolled your eyes.

"You own me cuddles." You pointed at him and he frowned as you walked away.

"Wait, I didn't do anything?!"

So I've been watching this for a while and I think I like this one more than Boys Over Flowers? I don't really know yet, but I like the cast a lot.

*Spoilers*

Basically, the most recent events have been Ah Si getting beaten up by the gang that kidnaps Shancai, and then them being in the hospital and a little after that ordeal. I feel like the further into the show i get the more it will drift away from Boys Over Flowers' plot line. Like, all the big events will be taken care of within the first 30 episodes. I also think in Meteor Garden, there's more visible romantic interest between the characters, such as Ah Si and Shancai as well as Xiaoyou and Ximen.

That's kinda all. I just wanted to say where I was at so far. Last note, I think Ximen is my favorite :)
