officialALLMIGHT I was feeling sentimental and nostaligic this morning. Almost forty years ago, I met the woman who would change my life in the most extraordinary ways. She is the definition of patience and grace with enough love in her heart to fuel the world. We started our hero journeys together and from there created a life both of us used to dream of. This woman, this beautiful, timeless, strong, woman is the greatest gift the world has to offer. Thank you, sweetest, for sticking with me through everything.
mrsmarionette my love my life :(((((( I will literally start crying. It has been nothing but an honor to be your wife <3 I was plotting on you the day we were assigned President and VP. You and the children we brought into this world are what keeps my heart beating. Thank you, dearest, for being mine always
offcialALLMIGHT mrsmarionette Its a good thing you made room in your schedule after the movies
mrsmarionette officalALLMIGHT the best thing.
pairing: toshinori yagi / all might x gn!reader x enji todoroki / endeavour
tags: jealousy (most enji), public love triangle, hero!reader (less popular/known), posessive!enji, open ending
all might and endeavour have been rivals in the public eye for a while now! as the number one and two heroes in japan, all eyes were on them and they were constantly compared with one another!
and while all might took this more lightly, endeavour hated it! he hated being second to all might! and he hated how much attention you were paying to all might…
both men had a crush on you, a fellow hero working alongside them. you weren't nearly as popular as they were, yet neither of them cared about that! they only cared about you
but thanks to their crush on you, you were constantly involved in missions for the top heroes of japan or were invited to hero gala's that only the top of the top would get to attend!
in all might's case, he wants you around him, since he feels much more comfortable at such event, when you are around! he doesn't like all the attention on him, so he'd rather spend his time with you
as for endeavour, he wants you around to show you off! he wants people to get the wrong idea and think you two are dating! and he wants to spend every free second he can with you!
of course, those wishes conflict with one another! both men want to be with you, yet only one of them can!
while all might would prefer to keep things civil between him and endeavour, enji is much more confrontational! he'll start a fight with all might over you, no hesitation!
it doesn't take long for others to catch onto what's going on! and especially the press is quite interested in this love triangle between the two top heroes in japan…
Yo! I was wondering if you could do some headcannons for Hawks, Aizawa, and All Might with a Pro Hero husband reader? I think it would be really cool if reader had a quirk that gave him the abilities of a skinwalker. He could be able to shapeshifter into his beast form, mimic voices he hears, regeneration, etc. Maybe he could be really tall (around 7ft) even when he isn’t using his quirk, and he looks creepy but is really sweet? I think it would be cool to see the medias reaction too. Sorry for the length. Thank you!!!
Shapeshifter!
Keigo Takami; Shouta Aizawa, Toshinori Yagi x ProHero!Husband!Reader
Summary: A character is married to a scary looking hero who’s actually a sweetheart. How does the media react? How did they meet?
★☽A/N: It’s been a while since I wrote headcannons! I really hope I improved! Oh! I had my birthday a couple days ago! September 4, hehe! So I consider this a bit of a gift to you guys for my birthday!
Contents: FLUFF – Headcannons
Quirk: Skinwalker
The user can alter their physical appearance to mimic any living creature, including humans and animals. This ability allows them to change their voice, size, and even mimic specific characteristics, such as muscle structure or hair. The transformation can be partial or full, depending on the user’s control. However, maintaining a transformation for extended periods drains energy, and extreme changes may lead to temporary exhaustion or loss of control.

Keigo Takami (Keigo)
The number 2 hero probably met Y/N when he just started his agency at 18 years old. He was on patrol when he saw a thief stealing an old lady’s purse. As the fastest, he immediately got to action, chasing the thief with lightning speed. Just before he could reach the purse, a cheetah suddenly ran into him, blocking his path and swiftly grabbing the thief by the collar with shark canine teeth.
The moment the cheetah ensured that it had disabled the thief, it suddenly changed into a tall male. He was towering over everyone who walked past, staring at him with a scared glare. Keigo figured he was perhaps 7ft (213cm) tall which practically towered the hero. He looked up at the figure, watching as he looked around for the owner of the purse.
He had to admit.
The male was tall and menacing. He had piercings around his ear, colors similar to his outfit. Takami figured he was a pro hero like himself. ‘But how did I not know him?’ he wondered. ‘Maybe an underground hero?’ he thought. Keigo just shrugged it off and walked over to him.
“Hey, big fela!” A shiver went down the hero’s spine when he saw the tall H/C haired man turn to look at him, eyes piercing through his soul. “J..Just wondering if you want me to give the purse back to its owner? I’m sure she’ll be very happy to get it back!” he managed to utter with a slight stutter.
The H/C haired tilted his head in confusion, but then his eyes widened in realization. “Oh- right!” The blonde couldn’t stop the chuckle from coming out of his throat. ‘I didn’t expect him to be so awkward!’ And he had to admit, he judged the hero too soon. His menacing looks were the total opposite to his sweet personality.
“Name’s Hawks. You?” he asked, receiving the purse from the tall hero. “Chimera.” He smiled. Hawks’s heart almost exploded!! His smile was so gentle and soft, a total contrast to his terrifying aura and looks! “So… What’s your Quirk? It’s hella unique!” Keigo commented. “Uhm… like a skinwalker..” Chimera mumbled. Takami was impressed. “A skinwalker? How cool!” he complimented.
“Thank you..” Chimera smiled.
And now they’ve been married for maybe two years? And Keigo is probably one of the happiest birds ever!
In his free time with Y/N, he would play a guessing game with him where Y/N had to transform into a person or an animal and Keigo had to guess who the person was or what animal it was! (He lost most of the time since he didn’t know much about animals… but he was excellent at recognizing people!”
The media would always talk about how scary the hero was, how he would turn into the scariest things just so he could fight. But Keigo? Total opposite! He is infatuated with how amazing Y/N’s Quirk is!
Imagine being able to transform into a cerberus?!
Despite his terrifying and frightening aura and looks, he was such a sweet man! Whenever Keigo and Y/N went out together, he would scare almost everyone who laid eyes on him! The rest just glared at him with disgust, which Keigo hated.
One time, Keigo and Y/N had just got out of the 7-11 where he found himself staring at a hungry kitten. Y/N looked at him with an excited face. “Wait here!” he said before rushing back into the store. Keigo didn’t know what he was doing until he came out of the store with a small packet of cat food. His heart ached out of affection when he watched Y/N give the food to the young kitten. His soft gentle smile, a rare sight, brought joy and love to Keigo’s heart.
Shouta Aizawa (Eraserhead)
Both Y/N and Shouta probably met when they were in high school! But Y/N was in a different class which made them meet extremely late. During their 1st year, around their second semester, both class 1A and 1B were going to have their joint training. This is probably the first time he met Y/N, teaming up with him to go against another team.
Shouta looked over to his side, watching the boy who was much taller than he was. He was broad and frightening to look like. He honestly believed their team would immediately win just by having the H/C look at their opponents the way he was staring at Shouta–
‘Wait-’ He realized Y/N was looking right back at him. He instantly blushed and looked away, silently cursing himself for staring at the male. “Sorry…” he managed to mutter. He heard Y/N respond with a hum.
He turned back and found the tall male walking forward before jogging, and then sprinting. Before Shouta knew it, Y/N was sprinting and quickly turned into a peregrine falcon and flew off. Shouta noticed how he was flying so fast, as if he was flying 5km per minute which was impressive to the ravenhead.
And in a matter of minutes, their team had won!
Y/N had rendered the other team’s members unconscious and had won for his team. Shouta was speechless! Even Hizashi and Oboro who were watching from the viewer room were just as speechless as their best friend!
Shouta walked up to Y/N with an embarrassed look. Despite Y/N’s spine-chilling presence, he managed to utter a “thank you..” to Y/N. Y/N smiled at him, thanking him with a gentle voice. Shouta didn’t stop the shivers going down his spine. His gentle voice and smile was different from his looks and presence, a feeling of comfort from the H/C’s gentle voice.
And now they’re much older! Like… 12-13 years older.. And their love never faded! It even grew when they got married!
Shouta had just started the year with his new students, thankfully not expelling them like the last batch of students. He genuinely saw potential in all of them and Y/N noticed and did not regret teasing Shouta about it, much to his protests.
Y/N was seen as a creepy person by the news, for his towering height and his death glares.
But Shouta knew it wasn’t true. Y/N was actually a big softie and sweetheart. He was a gentleman to all women, growing up with a mom who made sure he treated women with respect.
Like one time, they were out to eat and they saw a woman walking alone with a scared expression. Y/N, with no hesitation, walked over to the lady. She was about to scream for help because of how scary he looked, but she was calmed down by Y/N’s gentle and soft voice. He ended up guiding her to her car with no troubles.
Such a gentleman! No wonder Shouta is obsessed with his husband!
Toshinori Yagi (All Might)
The number one hero! A symbol of peace! Toshinori was proud of himself for finally making his dream come true after being Quirkless and being given One for All by his mentor. Not only that, but the blonde was happy he would’ve made his mentor, Nana, proud, bringing a soft smile to his face.
During one of his missions, he had to go to America and was partnered with one of the underground heroes named “Chimera” who would accompany him.
He had to admit. Out of all the villains he had to face, including All for One— Chimera was the most terrifying. As a tall man himself, he wasn’t scared of him due to his height, for he was taller by 3 inches but his eyes… The way he practically stared into Yagi’s soul was already bone-chilling to him and made him even terrified by thinking what sort of Quirk the H/C could have.
He was impressed by Chimera’s quick thinking and fast agility, making things a breeze. And the way the hero switched between animals was impressive! And it was on the go as well! The blonde couldn’t help but appreciate the hero more.
After the mission, All Might went up to Chimera and gave him the brightest smile. “You’re really good with your Quirk!” he complimented. Chimera turned to him with a threatening stare, giving shivers down Toshinori’s spine. “Y-You’re really impressive..” The blonde managed to let out. “I-I’m All Might.” He extended his shaking hand towards the hero with a crooked and forced smile.
The blonde was surprised to see Chimera smile. He thought his smile would’ve been terrifying and bone-chilling– So he was shocked to see such a gentle smile. It was a small one, almost non-visible, but his smile was still there, gentle and soft. And in his voice, as gentle and as soft as his smile, he said, “Thank you” with his tender smile.
ALL MIGHT IS SMITTEN! By now, in his 20 year marriage with Chimera, he had gotten used to Y/N’s horrifying appearance and eventually loved how scary he looked, with his tall appearance and hostile stares.
The public, around 10 years into his marriage, was shocked to hear that the number one hero was married to such a creepy underground hero! And Toshinori did not care, he loved the way he was!
The public, until now, are still terrified of the hero, even after he retired before his husband. Toshinori didn’t care much about how he retired, or that he still had his scary reputation. He loved Y/N and that was that.
After Toshinori retired and used his real form, he realized how short he was compared to Y/N now. It was shocking but he didn’t mind it.

“I’m sorry.”
To say you’ve dreamed about this for years would be an understatement, though now that it’s real you realize dreams could never fully capture reality
Your grip on the door falters as you take him in.
“Yagi? Is that you?”
He nods. His hair is disheveled and his eyes are dark, but his face is filled with determination.
“I’m sorry I left you. I-I’m sorry I ever thought-” He coughs and pulls a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe his mouth. “If you never want to see me again, I-”
“We’re still married,” you remind him softly, awkwardly waving your hand with the wedding band. “I couldn’t- I couldn’t bring myself to sign the papers. I think I always hoped… that you’d come back someday.”
Yagi falls silent.
“Do you want to come in?”
“Yes, please.”
You had to move after he left, the big apartment too expensive for one alone, especially with your kind of income. You suspect that the checks you got two or three times a year came from him, even if he never signed them himself.
“We won,” Yagi tells you, standing in your living room like he doesn’t know what to do with himself. “I don’t know… if you know. We won. Well, the kid did.”
“Midoriya Izuku, right?” You swallow thickly. “Your successor. I saw the fight. He really… He comes after you.”
“I’m sorry,” Yagi repeats. “I know you wanted a family. A normal… a normal life. I’m sorry I could never give that to you.”
“You’re here now.”
His eyes widen and you backpedal, afraid you were too forward, too hopeful.
“I don’t expect anything, Yagi, I just- of course, maybe you just wanted the divorce papers after all, I’ll get them-”
“No,” his hand catches your elbow and you stop to look at him. His lips wobble.
“I didn’t think you’d give me another chance after all this time. I thought this was hopeless. Why aren’t you mad at me?”
“I understand. I don’t… I don’t have to like it, but I understand. What you did and why you did it. I just would have liked it more if you could have been open with me, you know? Tsukauchi kept me in the loop as best as he could. A-and it’s the past, right? There’s no use dwelling on things that have happened. You’re here now.”
“Yes,” he smiles weakly. “I’m here now.”
Quiet envelopes you. He straightens his shoulders, though it doesn’t do much about his height. He’ll never be as tall as he used to be, though height never mattered much to you anyway.
“If you’re free, would you want to go out with me? A proper first date.”
You take his outstretched hand with a smile. “I’d love to.”
-
“I suppose we’re a little too old to have a talk about having kids, right?” Yagi asks about a month later, your body curled up next to his.
He snores less in this smaller body, you’ve found. He also does not run as hot, though you’ve found snuggling up to him under a mountain of blankets just as cozy as it used to be.
“Yeah,” you chuckle. “Though you could introduce me to that Midoriya-Kid,” you tease him. “You two seem awfully close.”
“I’d love to. He’s a bit of a crier though. Gets it from you, I guess.”
You laugh openly. “From me? Please. You’re the one who cries the minute an animal comes on the screen.”
“That’s uncalled for,” Yagi teases you. “It was one time and who wouldn’t cry? Babe the Pig’s story is amazing!”
-
“Hey,” Yagi knocks against the bedroom door. “I got you something. It’s a few years too late and if you don’t like it there’s no harm, but I want you to have it.”
“Oh?” You look up from where you’ve been folding laundry. “You’re making me curious. What is it?”
The package is soft and weirdly shaped. Someone must have helped him wrap it. Guessing by the green wrapping paper it was probably Inko.
You slice the paper open with your fingernails - a rather boring quirk unless you plan on opening a lot of presents and letters in your life - and take out a leash. It’s All Might Merch too.”
“Uh,” you make, unsure what it means. “Are you trying to tell me something.”
“I remember how we talked about having kids, years ago,” Yagi explains. “How I was cautious because of what happened to Shimura.”
“I remember.”
“Do you remember what you said to me?”
You sigh. “I said a lot of things, Yagi-” You cut yourself off when you remember, the memory sparking to life in your mind like a firework.
“We don’t need to have kids to be a family, Yagi. Just stay with me, promise me that, okay? A-and if we want to grow, we can adopt a plant or- or a pet. I always wanted to have a dog.”
Speechless you look down at the leash.
“You got me a dog?”
“Well, not yet. I wanted you to be able to choose. But I have an appointment at the shelter today. There’s no pressure though, we can go another time if that works better for you.”
-
The door clicks shut behind you. A quiet “whuff” greets you from the bedroom.
“Coming Nana,” you whisper, slipping out of your shoes. “Are you keeping watch on Daddy?”
Another “whuff”. You pad quietly down the hallway until you step into your bedroom.
Yagi’s napping, as usual around this time of the day. You take off your scarf as you watch him sleep, one hand curled into Nana’s fur. She’s resting with her head on his lap, her heterochromatic eyes on you.
She’s always watching out, for him, for you, for everyone.
“Good girl,” you praise her and she huffs quietly, pressing her head into your hand as you pet her.
There’s still laundry to be done and Dinner to be prepared, but you suppose a little nap won’t harm anyone, so you slip under the blanket as well, press your shoulder into Yagi’s as you cuddle close.
“Love,” he hums, though you suspect he’s still asleep.
“Yeah?”
“I’m here.”
“Mhm,” you lean in to kiss him. “And just in the right place too.”
“Whuff.” Nana agrees quietly, settling back into her spot.
Okay, so... I had a scene playing in my head with Toshinori, and I decided to explore it and write a little fanfic about it. It's basically a Reverse!Comfort fanfic where you are talking to Skinny!Might instead of Stain with an unexpected twist somewhere toward the end. But, I'm sure my fellow Skinny!Might lovers will like it. Also, this has a fair amount of swears; I regret nothing! Enjoy!
[ Life as a vigilante wasn't pretty, but hell, you'd never want to do anything else. Messing with heroes was fun, and enacting your own justice was something you had come to know and love. Unfortunately, it has become hard for you to get recognition as a vigilante when heroes were being shamed left and right and an impending war is on the horizon. Damn heroes ruin everything...well, actually, one hero always stood out from the rest. The former number one, All Might. Granted, you didn't expect to see him on your daily stroll, and it might just surprise you how merciful you are to him. ]
You took a breath as you looked up. The sky was dark, colored with hues of gray, and submerged with heavy, puffy clouds that blessed the ground below with furious droplets of rain. The atmosphere was thick, filled with panic and fear, things that you were all too used to—things that labeled you as a vigilante. A danger to society.
As a result of your chosen and productive career, some goodie two-shoes heroes thought you were more of a villain, and because of this you'd received a fair amount of 'punishment' for going around, beating asses, and saving the day—in your own way. Usually, this came in the form of speeches.
Yes, the heroes who attempted to apprehend you always subjected you to speeches about the dangers of vigilantes and how, if you changed your life, you could become a worthy hero. Loved and adored by all. Blah, blah, blah, you get it—the bullshit hero life they could never quite sell to you. However, one stood out from the rest, the former number one hero: All Might. Unlike the other bullshitters disguised as "heroes," he spared your ears from any gooshy, mushy, and vomit-inducing rants about justice and didn't shit on your personal lifestyle choices.
Oddly enough, he seemed to agree that the world and everyone in it, including villains, heroes, vigilantes, and any other unfortunate bastard cursed to be born on planet Earth, were subjected to shitty lives. Some shitter than others. Overall, he, at the very least, sympathized with you and the current state of Japan, especially now that All For One and numerous villains had escaped from prison, making the country their own personal playground.
In essence, the shitty state of Japan was actually a paradise for said villains; the heroes were struggling to keep up, and many of them were retiring. Instead of adoring cheers, civilians were now cursing their names, blaming them for the chaos, and, as you had come to notice, some were defacing statues of heroes, including All Might. Whoever hung a sign with the words 'I'm Not Here' on the former number one hero's statue was persistent. You saw it almost every day, and almost every day, some strange woman would come to clean the said statue and remove the sign. You weren't sure why and assumed she was still a loyal All Might fan.
"Just another day in paradise," you said, or so you thought. As you near the familiar area with the All Might statue, you tighten your fingers around your umbrella, trying to make sense of what you are seeing.
There appeared to be a man standing in front of it. The familiar sign was still hanging from it, and as you approached, using your quirk so your feet hovered just above the ground, you noticed the man's unruly blond hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved black jacket, a belt, dark green jeans, and sneakers.
You narrowed your eyes. Oh great, is this a new weirdo who has nothing better to do than want to clean and remove the sign, only to have it, *gasp*, magically appear the next day? Over the soft pellets of rain that landed on your umbrella, you heard what he was saying.
"The reality is, you've been holding him back. Great job, All Might."
Your eyes widen. Wait a fucking minute. The man before you was All Might? Well, surely, he wouldn't try taking the sign off his statue; you were pretty sure he hated himself just as much as the villains hated him, or rather, his former hero self. Either way, it was still a little hard to recognize him in his skinny form. But who was he holding back, and why was he being so mean to...well, himself?
"Hm..." You twirled your umbrella, the gears turning in your head. I may lean more towards the villain's side, at least to those righteous, cape-wearing fuckers who have nothing better to do than judge me, but I still have some morals. And it was those morals that seemed to be contemplating whether you wanted to stay and have a little chat with All Might or just leave him drowning in his shit pot stew.
Again, as far as heroes went, All Might was decent, more grounded in reality. Even if that current reality was being torn apart at the seams. You stared at him for a moment more, finding yourself smiling. There's something about the way he's standing there. All moopy in the rain, that's almost attractive. You grinned. And misery loves company, doesn't it?
Toshinori sighed and turned to leave, only to stumble back when he saw you land on the ground, a foot or so from him. His sunken eyes widened, making his soft blue irises a little more visible. After a moment, however, his stiff shoulders slumped. "Oh," he said, "it's you...Y/n." He couldn't say he was surprised. He was almost certain you'd take advantage of the chaos that was happening now. Then again, you weren't a traditional kind of vigilante, at least not in his eyes. "What are you doing here?"
You smirked and held your umbrella out, shielding him from the rain. The rain that now fell across your hair and skin felt refreshing. But you remained quiet, finding it more fun to mess with him with your lack of words. Even so, eye contact remained.
He blinked, surprised that you were offering your umbrella. They...want to shield me from the rain? His gaze lingered on it for a moment, his fingers twitching. Strange. He took hold of the handle, his heart gently fluttering in his chest. "Why would...you do this for a washed-up old hero, like me?"
You laughed at his question and leaned forward, your hands behind your back. Your eyes lingered with mischief, and part of you thought it amusing that he referred to himself as a washed-up old hero, and yet his earlier words echoed in your head.
The reality is, you've been holding him back. Great job, All Might.
He narrowed his eyes, trying to study your movements. Yet, he also remained standing tall, refusing to back down or become intimidated by you. I don't sense any dangerous intent coming from them. Granted, that didn't necessarily mean you weren't up to no good. Yes, you weren't the typical vigilante type, but you were easily as dangerous, if not more dangerous than a villain.
"I heard what you said earlier!" You sang, almost like a child.
He raised his eyebrow. Oh...so they heard that. He glanced down. Can't say I'm surprised at that either. His breath was long and drawn out, his eyes settling upon you with some coldness. "I suppose you're wondering who the great hero All Might was referring to."
"Meh," you replied, shrugging. "I don't really care," a teasing tone coated your voice as you slowly began to circle him, like an animal ready to pounce on its prey. "But, even if I did, I assume that you were simply referring to another good doer, bullshitter."
A soft growl rumbled in his throat, his eyes narrowing as he continued to watch you. While he didn't appreciate you calling Izuku such a thing, he knew from experience that it was best not to act on anger, and so he kept quiet.
"I'm more interested in why you were referring to yourself as if you hate who you were," you replied, your footsteps sloshing slightly as they continued to step along the dampened ground. "At least when you were a hero, you weren't like those goodie two-shoes ones. So, why do you hate yourself so much, All Might?" You sounded smug, almost like you were making fun of him, and of course, you were, to some extent. Nothing made you happier than pushing a hero's buttons. Granted, you were a touch nicer to him than most others you encountered.
"Tsk," he gave a smile, your words resonating with him. He turned back to the statue—the shadow of his former self. "All that work," he said, "throughout the years, and what did it get me?" He had caused Izuku suffering, put the boy in situations he didn't ask for, and tried coddling him, only to realize his actions pushed him away.
You furrowed your brow at his explanation. So...he's feeling sorry for himself. Although you couldn't say you didn't experience that from time to time, maybe it was human nature, even if some people thought you were less of a human being because you sought your own sense of justice in this fucked up world. "Is that it?" you asked, unimpressed as you crossed your arms and sighed.
He looked at you, his lips pressed into a thin line. His eyes still mixed with hints of anger and curiosity.
You frowned when you noticed the way he was looking at you. Jeez, this suddenly turned sour. He's really down in the dumps, isn't he? You rolled your eyes. "Okay, fine," you said in a huff. "You're no fun when you're serious," you commented, stopping in front of him.
He frowned, glancing away. I suppose that's what Young Midoriya thought as well. Granted, he wasn't supposed to be fun, and he was only trying his best to protect the boy. Yet, that didn't stop the guilt from overwhelming him.
"Mm..." you pouted, feeling your stomach churn with unease. You knew your words would be meaningless, and that it was likely he wouldn't believe them despite the brief conversations you had exchanged in the past. You took a long breath, exhaling loudly. "As far as heroes go, you're the only one I respect, even remotely, mostly because you don't bullshit anything."
"Only one you respect, huh?" He looked away. Sounds like Stain. Although Y/n is a little more stable than that. His fingers brushed against his mouth. Then again, what do I know? I don't know anything about Y/n that they haven't shared, or I haven't learned from our encounters. He hummed softly. Come to think of it, this was his first encounter with you since he had lost his quirk for good.
"Anyways," you said, rolling your eyes. Damn, you hated this. Being mushy and feely wasn't your thing. Then again, maybe you were just feeling sorry for him because he reminded you of yourself. When society's expectations got too much for you, when you finally cracked under the pressure. You winced, rubbing the back of your neck. "Even if you were holding someone back because of who you were, maybe it's not yourself you hate, but the stupid expectations you had to abide by as a hero."
He furrowed his brow despite your words making sense. He was focusing too much on what he had learned as a hero. As the glorious All Might, who, like many of the other heroes, was being shamed and tormented. All because they couldn't keep up with the recent demands from the panicked citizens of Japan. Everything they had done in the past, all the joy they had granted, all the praise they received from saving the day...meant nothing now.
You glanced away, grumbling the words, "Expectations aren't something I follow. Sometimes you gotta break the damn rules to get what you want and find out who you really are when the going gets tough."
He raised his eyebrow, a soft hum sounding in his throat. "Break the rules as a former hero..." he repeated, his stomach churning some, and yet a tingle of excitement crept up his spine. It was a bit crazy, but perhaps it was time to stray from the hero path he had known and enact his own sense of justice and what he, Toshinori Yagi, thought was right.
You chuckled. "That's right, don't let it go to pretty head," you teased. "Blaming yourself for whatever mess the heroes have made or whatever mess you made with whoever the hell you were referring to isn't going to get you anywhere." You shrugged, placing a hand on your hip. "What will is going against the rules laid before you and enacting your own justice isn't always bad."
His eyes widened, your words stirring something inside of him. The lingering guilt for pushing Izuku away, being unable to protect others, and having to watch from the sidelines would continue to weigh heavily on his heart; this much he knew. But that could also be the source that prompted him to take action. Do something to appease it before he suffocates in his own misery.
"You were All Might..." you continued, "but you can become something more than that if you're willing to twist the game in your favor." Your gaze lingered on him for a moment more before you walked past him, your little speech finished, leaving you feeling sicker than anticipated. Seriously, did I just give advice to him? Uh, what is wrong with me?
When you walked past him, he hitched his breath, his eyes widening, and his chest feeling lighter as the weight of his troubles had waned but not completely disappeared. Yes, hope was hidden within your words, and perhaps he could truly become more than just All Might, even if he was washed up, retired, and quirkless. His fingers twitched and tightened around the umbrella handle as he spun around. "Y/n!" he said, a slight sense of panic in his voice laced with a hint of determination.
"Hm?" you paused, the melody of rain still lingering as you gazed at him from over your shoulder.
He paused, slumping. "Uh…" he glanced down, the subtle awkward tension seeping around him. Y/n...I didn't expect such wisdom from them. Guess this old dog can still be surprised by new tricks.
"Heh," was he at a loss for words? You turned, your feet hovering off the ground once more before you gently floated over to him.
He stiffened some at your close presence and tilted his head up, as you were floating just a little above him now. He cleared his throat, "Thank you," he said after a moment, "for saying all that." Yes…he'd still find a way to protect Izuku, even if it meant using outside sources like support gear to do so, even if it meant breaking the boundaries that kept him chained down as a former hero.
You raised your eyebrow. Wait...he actually listened? To think a hero would even consider your words worthy was shocking; at the same time, it acted as a continued reminder of why you favored All Might. You gave a half smile. It was almost amusing that he was thanking you. "Consider it payback for all the times your fellow heroes preached my ears off." Guess their useless words were good for something. You chuckled, "But you're welcome," you replied, about to turn your body and continue floating away, when you paused. "Oh, and one more thing."
"Hm?"
You chuckled again as you grabbed his chin, your grip tight and firm.
He hitched his breath, his jaw clenched as you took hold of it. His eyes narrowed, and his posture grew stiff yet defensive. His hand wrapped around your wrist, prepared to pull away your hand by force if necessary. He knew you were bound to have unpredictable moments. However, nothing would have prepared him for just how unpredictable your next move was.
You grinned, your face just inches from his. Might as well mess with him. You enjoyed keeping people in a constant state of confusion, which only added to your reputation as a vigilante. Nobody knew what you could do, or what you'd do next. And you liked it that way. You took pride in seeing the way his brow furrowed and his jaw clenched. Your nose brushed against his as you finally closed the distance, pressing your lips to his.
"Mm!?" He trembled, the sensation of your warm lips against his bringing back some youthful memories, and that fluttering in his chest increased. It had been years since he had kissed anyone, and yet, at this moment, where the world was quiet but laced with chaos, he found himself slowly melting into it. Perhaps he was just glad to have something that brought a strange sense of calm to his otherwise frantic life.
Your lips curled into a smile when you felt his body relax and heard the soft thud of the umbrella falling to the ground, leaving his hand free to cup your cheek. His fingers felt rough but gentle, and his palm warm against your skin. Being merciful as you were, you allowed him a few more moments to enjoy what you had given him before leaning back.
Your lips parted with a soft pop before you smirked, finding his flushed face amusing. You grabbed the umbrella, handing it back to him. Your feet were back on solid and wet ground as you looked up at him. "Since you actually listened, here's another piece of advice," you said, "if all else fails...keep smiling." This was followed by a shrug. "You kind of had a good smile..." you ducked your head, muttering, "for a stupid hero."
Kissing you went against most of what he had learned as a hero—yet, the moment replayed again in his head. His fingers tightened around the umbrella handle, and a timid smile came to his face. I don't regret it. His eyes locked with yours, noticing how the rain was causing small strands of hair to stick to your forehead. "So, that's all you wanted to say...to do," he said, his eyes watering a bit, "with a washed-up old hero like me."
"Maybe," you replied, "but I look forward to seeing what you can accomplish now, thanks to my advice, Toshinori Yagi."
He jolted some, the way you spoke his name making his pulse quicken, and yet the concern of how you knew his name lingered. Regardless, it also sparked an odd sense of intrigue within him, and he found himself laughing. The sound light, and airy, perhaps the first true genuine piece of happiness he had felt since his world fell apart. I'll make it a point to get to know them better after the impending war. At least it would give him something to look forward to, not as the washed-up hero All Might, but as Toshinori Yagi. The man who would always look for a brighter future, not for the citizens of Japan, but for himself.
As anyone else might say sometimes your quirk doesn’t always work the way you intend it unless you train it rigorously, even then sometimes your quirk can mess up or even activate subconsciously.
A/N: I'm finally writing something after fighting with my computer for several months and posting it. I will not be disappearing into the oblivion I will be writing whether my brain likes it or not.

Bakugo
As a new hero you needed to be ready to jump into action at a single call. But as you check your phone again you grumble. “I’m taking a nap someone will call if they need me.”
Though the idea of sleeping on concrete wasn’t entirely appealing you were glad for the pseudo cape on your uniform. Closing your eyes happily under the warmth of the sun, even if it was killing you slowly.
While you slept someone who was actually working happened to land on the roof of the building you were sleeping on, which was just the roof of your apartment. Upon seeing your uniform and you just dozing away Dynamight frowned.
“The hell? Is this the new hero that joined, lazy fucker,” he grumbles to himself before turning to you, unbeknownst to him though your quirk was already active.
As soon as he walked closer the watery tendril wrapped about his hands preventing him from using his quirk, then over his mouth to keep him from waking you up. That would have all good and well if some of the water didn’t brush against your skin sending a chill up your spine and waking you up.
Rubbing your eyes and seeing the glaring red ones you quickly pulled the water away. “Oh my gosh I’m so sorry. Are you okay?”
Picking up your phone you frown at the message. Dynamight was about to chastise you for falling a sleep on the job when you turned off your visor and walked to the door.
“My apologies senpai it seems I’ve been given a mandatory holiday, have a good rest of your day,” You give a slight bow before walking through the door back into the apartment building. “How fucking fun, let me just almost suffocate my big brother’s best friend. Way to go Y/N!”
Kaminari
Your big brother had been born quirk-less and seemed to acquire a quirk seemingly over night before entering high school, while you had both your parents quirks. Fire breath and attraction of small objects. This was probably the most important thing about you that anyone learned, because that would explain why sometimes you simply looked like a dragon no matter the season because you seemed to be breathing smoke.
“What are you doing?” someone asks in what had been a silent workshop.
“I was trying to fix this,” you frown as the item you had been working on fell onto the open table, with a lot of training you were able to hold things in mid air and hold multiple things at once. “Did you need something?”
Kaminari was someone you only recognized because he was in your brother’s class back in high school. “I uh was just checking if my disk shooters were fixed.”
“Uh well that's not my task so I dunno, you’ll probably need to talk to Ogiwara.” You could see his eyes going wide and you look up to see the hammer that had been on your tool belt floating above you. “Damn quirk.”
Jumping up a bit you pull it back down and frown.
“Sorry I guess I’m not as aware of it as I hoped I was, didn’t mean to scare you.”
Shoji
Because of your quirk needing eye contact you did any and everything to get a job where you didn’t need to make eye contact. Office jobs were a bust because your boss would demand it, restaurants were a bust because anyone could make eye contact with you and you wouldn’t know who the last person to look into your eyes was, ultimately you ended up with one of the worst jobs ever according to you brother, at home desk work.
Standing up from your floor desk your back was killing you, and from the warmth of the sunshine from your office window it was warm. “Maybe I could go for a walk? I’m ahead on work.”
Mumbling this you give your puppy a smile as you stand up.
“Hey baby, are you ready for your morning walk?” You ask just as you get dressed in proper outside clothes, the number of times your neighbors have accidentally seen you in your skivvies was far more than you wanted to admit.
The shiba you’d affectionately named Sho –after your big brother, who wasn’t dead he simply pretended not to like dogs– rubs up against your our reached hands giving soft barks in confirmation.
“Let me check how hot it is, we wouldn’t want you to get ouchies,” you giggle.
Waiting inside your apartment Sho watches as you walk to the sun heated ground touching it with the back of your hand. It wasn’t hot and you could walk around if you wanted to.
“Alright, come here baby!” You beam.
Sho already holding his leash rushes up to you closing the door, you smile clipping on the leash before going to lock your door. Just as you do you happen to hear your neighbor leaving his apartment too, you met him when you were in high school a student your brother taught, but now he was just your next door neighbor.
Sho pulls you along excitedly nearly causing you to crash into said person. “Sho heal.”
Just barely you catch yourself before you slam into the solid person next to you, giving a weak smile with your eyes closed you turn your head up a bit. “Sorry about almost running you over.”
“It’s fine y/n.”
Looking back to your dog you sigh. “Hope I’ll see you around.”
“Like wise.”
Though you did chance a little look, sometimes you could just barely look at someone and avoid activating your quirk.
That wasn’t the case because while Sho and you sat at a bench to get some shade you feel asleep. Finding yourself looking through someone else’s mind.
“Fuck.” You mumble trying to figure out if there was a way that you could wake up.
Waiting waiting for Sho to start scratching at you to wake up thought he probably wouldn’t do that, you’d probably have to wash your face when you got home cause he’ll lick you awake. Seeing through Shoji’s mind was different. You knew he was a hero, you just didn’t know he patrolled so close to your apartments.
Returning to your own body you blink a bit.
“This isn’t a very safe place to be sleeping,” he chuckles. “But it seems you have a good companion who’s worried about you.”
Looking down you reach to hug Sho. “I’m sorry baby, let’s go home. Thanks for waking me up.”
He nods giving a slight wave.
Shinso
Understanding any creature that had competent thoughts had its moments. It was basically a cheat skill to you, understanding your fur babies without having to spend thirty minutes arguing with them like your siblings. Milk and Tea sat on your stomach and chest respectively, both being adorable and restrictive to your breathing.
“I’d like some space please, can you both sit on my legs instead?” You mumble.
You receive two no’s.
The thing was your quirk also worked on humans you simply never used it on them.
“I gotta go buy food come on!” You urge.
They both look at you like they thought you were lying.
“It’s good for you.”
Both cats jump off you and prance away like the spoiled brats they were. Giving you a moment to both use the restroom and grab your things to go run to the store and buy all that food.
“Kitten?”
You were so focused on tying your shoe properly that you failed to notice your boyfriend come inside. Shinso stood behind you while you tried to tie his shoes onto your feet, which didn’t work because you both had different shoe sizes.
Thinking you heard something you were about to shoo away the cats because you knew it’d be a thirty minute chase if one of those pampered brats got outside. Only to hear.
‘Damn I doubt they’d notice if I poked them.’
More alert but unbalanced you try to move away from your brat of a boyfriend only to tip forward into the door. His eyes lock with yours as he shouts.
“Wait!”
“What?”
Luckily you didn’t hit the door but not you were practically a rag doll into his hold. You hated when this happened. Once righted and able to stand you push him back.
“Fuck you, Toshi, I was trying to tie my…” you look down finally realizing whose shoes you were wearing. “Why’d you move my shoes?”
“I was tired, it was just on the same shelf.” He shrugs. “You good, Kitten?”
“Mm, I’m fine. Also no poking,” you switch the shoes getting ready again.
“You read my mind?”
“I thought it was the cats.”
“You always think it’s the cats.”
You frown. “Fine the next time that the Sgt Fluff ball gets out again you’ll be the one to chase him.”
“I-
You wave with a smile. “I’m off to buy some cat food and dinner. You better tell me what you wanna eat.”
You didn’t miss the threatening thoughts from just outside your door swinging it open forcefully.
“Oops my bad.”
Aizawa
You were very excited to be working with other heroes your own age for once, not that weren’t thankful for your mentors you just felt like you were learning the same thing over and over from the older pro heroes. At sixteen you dropped out of school and found a hero to intern under, with the concentrated crime rate in your city instead of simply learning how to learn how to be a hero you were basically already a hero the only useful thing you learned was how to cause the least amount of property damage so you could have enough money to support yourself and your little brother. Now you were going to Japan to learn more about being a hero, your agency pretty much forced everyone to visit other countries in a sort of exchange program. But standing in front of other twenty somethings you felt like you’re mind was gonna a short circuit.
“H-hello name hero eh, I mean my hero name is Whiplash. It’s a pleasure to meet all of you, Gracious has nothing but nice things to say about Japan heroes,” You keep your head down embarrassed from the messy introduction.
You could just feel someone staring down your neck before you stood back up, then again you wore a full mask for your protection. “Your form said you already have six years experience on the field…”
Giving a little nod you look at the ground again. “Um while it’d be awesome if stars and stripes could be anywhere there is a problem there are some cities that ave atrocious crime rates.” Not wanting to talk about it again you smile. “I’m curious what hero schools are like though, I heard y’all get direct teaching from some of the best heroes.”
“They’re the same as hero schools in America right?” one young man frowns keeping his face covered with the scarf.
“Eh, I’ve visited the one in my state and that’s only true if you’re lucky enough to get a school with a ton of funding. The schools aren’t government funded they’re funded at a city or state level if anything and any school is lucky enough to get enough funding to keep up with the new regulations every year,” you shrug thinking a little bit about that small experience, you felt a bit angry just thinking about the state of the schools and how people had been treated.
“Whip.”
Blinking a bit you felt the blood drain from your face. “I’m so sorry.”
“It happens sometimes.”
You hadn’t realized you activated your quirk resulting in a small garden growing in the lobby.
“Well the lobby did look a little gray, I’m Eraser Head.” The young man holds his hand to you and you shake it.
“I can pick up the plants but I’ll use my next pay to fix the ground.” you mumble.
He shrugs. “I doubt they’ll know how to fix it.”
Yagi
“It was a bad idea marrying a hero Yagi.”
“Shut up.”
“He’s what how many years older than you?”
“Five? Is that so terrible?”
Your so called best friend was scolding you again. For getting married, it wasn’t even because of who you married they just used that to try and make their point seem more valid. You just wanted to work on your throwing, not listen to them complain since they themselves wanted so be married but never found the right person.
“Come on he’s got to lack something.”
Splashing them with the water you were using to help you work the clay you frown. “Either you change the topic or you know where the exit is Cole.”
“Seriously? You’re gonna pick him over me? I thought you were a good friend.”
As you pull the piece and their tone starts to irk you you felt your blood burning. They pulled every little transgression that they thought was so terrible when they were all instances you couldn’t help.
Feeling then clay slip you stop the wheel and glare. “Shut up and leave!”
It came out harsher than you intended.
“I hear this enough from my mother now from you?” As you turn away all you could do was shout.
This broke then glass divider, your voice wasn’t quite as powerful as your little brother’s bit you always hit that frequency to break shit.
Just then your husband walks into the studio. “Oh dear.”
“I’ll just see myself out,” Cole states quickly grabbing her things and brushing past Toshinori.
You stare at the broken glass in disbelief. “Fuck, fuck.” Curses pour from your mouth as you hit yourself, though your hands weren’t clean so you got slip and clay ill over your face and hair as tears fell.
Before you can do any real damage large arms wrap around you. “My dear be careful, we wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself.”
“I messed up again,” you sniffle hiring your face into his shirt, why did he always wear white shirts?
“Never fear I am here,” he whispers earring a slight chuckle through your sniffing.
Hugging him back you frown mumbling into his chest.
“What was that my love?”
Pulling back a bit so could speak clearly you look up at him with a pout. “I think this time I need to install metal shelving.”
“I believe that is the best course of action.” He rubs circles into your back as you bury your face into his chest again.
“Guess what?”
“What?”
“My baby brother got into Yuuei.”
“That’s wonderful my love should we send him a gift of congratulations?”
You shake your head. “My mom will just throw it away. I’ll give him some spending money and take him the dinner the next time I’m in Musutafu.”
Yagi Toshinori or more well know to the public as All might could be a kind man and gentle to his spouse. Not that any one knew he was married.
"Hi," he says. You and Toshinori are just outside your parents' home. It was midnight and the pavement glowed because of the rain that early evening.
"Are you. . . " You blink fast and swallowed the lump in your throat. "Are you all right?"
"Yes," he says, moving closer to you for an embrace. "I'm fine. You worry too much."
The space between you and Yagi seems to expand and contract at the same time.
"I heard. . . the news said you were okay. I mean, you're All Might but— you almost died." You mumble. Your eyes won't stop staring at him.
He shrugged. "Why are you looking at me like that?" he asks.
"Like what?"
The blond frowns. "Like that. Like you want to run away."
"I don't. . . " You clear your throat and turn away. "I have to go."
"Go?" he says, shocked. "The last time I saw you, it's been a month and now you're leaving?"
You stumble away from him, from the promise of comfort, the warmth of his arms around you. You can't have it anymore. You have to let him go.
He calls your name, ". . . stop."
Your body obeys, even if your brain is screaming at you not to. You hear the scrape of the rubber of the soles of his flip-flops, feel the gentle touch of his hand on your shoulder. "What's going on?" he asks.
You slip out of his grasp and turn around. "We can't keep seeing each other."
The Number One Hero looks stunned. For one moment, he is a statue mounted in his honor. Then he comes to life and takes a step back. He looks around, at the concrete littered with puddles here and there, at the houses in the neighborhood and their lit up square windows, at the streetlamp flickering once or twice, as if there's something around here could tell him what to do, what to say. He closes his sunken blue eyes and then he opens them, something cracks in his expression— for a fleeting instant, you see hurt and resignment. Then he smooths out his face as neatly as his muscles and form does whenever he uses his quirk to buff up and become his hero persona.
"Very well," he says. He sound pleasant, detached.
"I—I'm sorry," you whisper. Now that you said it, you wish to take it back. You don't like this Toshinori, the polite mask, well-mannered hero. It's the public's All Might, not your Toshi.
"If you will excuse me, it is late. I'll be on my way." He brushes past you and you instinctively grab his arm.
"Toshi, wait—"
He places his other hand to yours and gently guided your hand away.
"No," he shakes his head. Now you can feel his anger—it radiates off him in waves but he still manages to be gentle. "You do not get to tell me what to do. You have lost that privilege."
The impact of what you've done hits you hard, and the world sharpens, and you're furious. It isn't fair that he's angry at you when you're sick of worrying, of losing sleep over his duty, of only being updated of his well-being through news channels. And it's infuriating that you've argued over this, talked about it, and each time, the incidents only gets more serious. Only gets more fatal. Only gets you to think about his mortality. That one day he'd— both your palms smack into his chest, sending him stumbling backward.
"Do you think this easy for me? That this is what I want?" You raise your hand to hit him again, but he catches your wrist.
"Do you think this is easy for me?" he hissed, his sunken blue eyes glinted sharply. "Do you have any idea. . ." Toshinori pulls on your wrist, hard enough to bring your faces within inches from each other. You're suddenly aware of how strong he is despite being almost skin and bones.
"You do not know," he growls. "You talk as though I take for granted of what we— what I thought we had." His grip tightens. "I risk your life just by being next to you. Do you understand that? If people know, if I register you as my emergency contact and we're caught, you will be in danger. I will never be able to live with myself if a villain hurts you to get to me. I will put your life in jeopardy."
You feel yourself go limp, all the fight seeping out of you. "But. . . but why then? You should have known that this— this all I'll ever be for you. Just a person who couldn't be there for you because I'm a civilian you have to keep safe. If this is all that's gonna be, why did you ever kiss me in the first place?"
"Because this is not something I was supposed to have!" Toshinori shouts. "I look at you and I feel human. I look at you and I feel whole. I look at you and it doesn't matter whether I'm All Might or I'm a random nobody. I look at you and I live. I look at you and having the title of Number One Hero is nothing, nothing compared to being called yours! I can't go back to who I was anymore."
He seems to realize he's still holding your wrist. Your fingers have gone numb. Toshinori releases you and shoves his hands into the pockets of his cargo pants. Blood rushes back to your fingertips, which prickle with pins and needles.
"And even if we aren't caught," he continues in a more subdued tone, "You will never be able to introduce me to your family. I will never get to walk down the streets with you hand in hand, or take you to the municipal to submit a marriage certificate with you. And whatever happens to me, your life will go on as if I never met you. And it doesn't matter as long as I have kept you safe. That's all I want." He blinks and looks at your wrist. "I did not mean to hurt you. I'm sorry."
Your frail resolve wavers. You and Toshinori were never meant to happen, but against impossible odds, you and him found each other— and more importantly, chose to be together.
He deserves to be with someone as brave as he is.
"Toshi, don't leave." You take a tentative step towards him. "I was wrong. I'm sorry. Stay with me. I want you for as much time as we possibly can have. I'm sorry for having a moment of weakness. I want you, Toshi. I want all the stolen moments I can get."
There is a long silence. He stares at you, and your brain works furiously to think of something more to say.
A slow smile spreads across his face. ". . . keep looking at me like that and we'll get outed to the public in precarious situation."
Your cheeks warmed.
---
You watch the two old logs burst into flames. The fire crackles and you take a seat on the ground behind Toshinori. You spread your legs for him to lean back against you. It is his prerogative right to be the little spoon whenever he's in his true form. This is a thing between you and him, camping in the middle of nowhere to avoid public eye.
"I'm sorry," you say over and over to his back. "I'm sorry." His shirt smells like smoke from the fire, and dry leaves, and detergent.
"You're allowed to end this," he says quietly.
"I updated my agency. They'll inform you first when I. . . "
To which you reply with, "I know." You squeeze him in your arms so tight you apologizing still, for trying to break up with him or for a future without him.
You let your sobs ran through you. He hunches even more, his arms wrapped around his knees, into a seashell arc in your arms while your tears trickled down to the back of his neck.
"I love you." His tired voice.
". . . love you too."
This is the brutal truth of loving All Might.

AN: This is fluff, right? i forgot.

<- previous (pov: this is how you fell in love with Small Might)
I feel like because he is older, he’s definitely a bit old school. He would make sure to walk you to your front door, insisting on holding doors open for you. Anytime it rains he makes sure to hold the umbrella or he would literally take off his jacket so you have cover.
He moves slowly. So you have to be patient with him, he suffers from a chronic illness so sometimes he doesn’t even have the energy to get out of bed.
His energy can be sporadic, which makes date planning hard. Some days he’s jazzed and feels like he can run a marathon. Others, well. He likes when you just lay beside him so he doesn’t feel so alone.
He suffers from bouts of depression. He loves to go on and on about the glory days, but sometimes you can see a glint in his eye that means he’s realizing that those days are in the past.
He’s a generous lover. Because of his illness, it’s… a little hard to stay hard. But he loves you. So he wants to make sure that you’re taken care of.
His best mornings are the mornings when he can just watch you go. Whether you’re humming a catchy commercial tune while making your coffee, or when you’re stuck between being awake and dreaming, tossing while in bed. He’s mesmerized.
It’s hard for him to talk about his feelings, which leads to a lot of arguments.
Sometimes he can minimize your problems. He fought the world’s number one villain, not once, but twice. Surely you can tell your boss that you deserve that promotion, right?
While sometimes he doesn’t understand why you’re crying about how he doesn’t “get it”, he’s at least quick to apologize. After all, he wasn’t called the Symbol of Peace for nothing.
