Gonna get banned for politics, but I gotta ask about the Venezuelan "oil" cause.
If Venezuela has "the largest oil reserves", then why would USA "invade" for it when "years of mismanagement, corruption, and underinvestment at the state oil company" have generated some of the most crude and "dirty" oil? (Yahoo Finance)
And if those years of neglect are bringing more harm than good, then is it really so awful that there's a change in management by an American company already established there and saying they were "following relevant laws and regulations... focused on the safety and well-being of our employees."? (Fox Business)
Then again, maybe I'm wrong about all this and Trump really is a fascist dictator trying to take over the world, country by country by abducting government leaders and their spouses in order to access their resources. After the situation is likely to be felt for a long time despite only lasting "45 minutes" and being met with apprehension by the citizens of Venezuela. (PBS)
I dunno. I'm not an expert, and I'd rather be kept out of politics, but everyone else in my feed seem to want to spout their two cents about everything, so... Here we are.
Search Engines:
Search engines are independent computer systems that read or crawl webpages, documents, information sources, and links of all types accessible on the global network of computers on the planet Earth, the internet. Search engines at their most basic level read every word in every document they know of, and record which documents each word is in so that by searching for a words or set of words you can locate the addresses that relate to documents containing those words. More advanced search engines used more advanced algorithms to sort pages or documents returned as search results in order of likely applicability to the terms searched for, in order. More advanced search engines develop into large language models, or machine learning or artificial intelligence. Machine learning or artificial intelligence or large language models (LLMs) can be run in a virtual machine or shell on a computer and allowed to access all or part of accessible data, as needs dictate.
BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR BOTNETS USA
My god, I don’t know where else to rant about this, but I’ve been listening to the latest MBMBaM episodes, and they’re slowly retiring the yahoo answers segments (on account of the site shutting down) and the way that Griffin is reading these last ones out is the saddest thing for real.
It’s not even so much the sadness about the site itself but the way that Griffin solemnly thanks his yahoo buddies who have been sending him yahoo answers questions for years is so sad.
I cannot handle Griffin saying, “This is one of our last ones, this one sent in by Level 9000 yadrew drewid drew davenport, (pause) thank you, Drew.” His tone of voice is so sad and its like he’s saying goodbye to his lifelong friends for the last time and it is adding so much emotional weight to the shutting down of this very mediocre website.
Anyways that’s it I’m getting very emotional over a comedy podcast again.
Curl up with a cozy cup of these exceptional teas.
