Finished the last of the merinoXleicester off on some of my favourite spindles, which I plan to do as a 2-ply. Also finished off the camel/eri silk/merino blend on my favourite Aussie made spindles, destined to become a chain ply.

Started another new project. This time I’ve been planning to make it for a while but I only just realized that I actually had enough yarn for it. One scarf to rule them all!
Nothing like making yourself a fluffy mermaid blanket and getting to the point you can cover your lap
Starting a new linen stitch blanket using this tutorial. New blanket in bowl on top of the old blanket I made a year or two ago (that I somehow never took pictures of or posted here!)
Trying my hand at knitting socks to avoid a job application.
Tunisian crochet experiment! My right shoulder has been “a problem” lately which has made my normal knitting and crochet projects a bit more difficult and painful than usual. After several excruciatingly boring days/weeks of moving as little as possible I finally decided to give Tunisian crochet a go because I am bad enough at it that I can just hold my right hand still and do all the work with my left. I am trying to recreate this pattern but in crochet because in a moment of folly I believed I could do this with one skein of yarn. I now doubt this will be possible, but I am still curious how far I’ll get with just the one skein. I also suspect that even if I finish it, it’ll still be stiffer than knit and would not drape quite as nicely. I do, however, recall that I have a very nice purple yarn that would probably suit this pattern rather well (knit, not crochet).
5mm Tunisian crochet hook, lion brand some type of acrylic yarn that I’m too lazy to find right now.
Finished Measurements: 15” wide x 50” length: or you can outstretch your arms, measure from wrist to wrist and use that measurement for len
Ran out of green, tried to stretch it by adding white which only worked for almost one row. Replaced the green with blue, but keeping the white. Looks pretty weird and managing the strings inside is super annoying, but I refuse to redo it for a cleaner look or to make it easier on me.
Using 5mm hook and misc second hand orphaned yarn from my #4 bin, the green might even be a wool blend idk.
Didn’t really write down what I was doing for the first sleeve, now I gotta figure out how to recreate it. Hoo boy…
Lion mandala bonus bundle yarn #3 thickness on 4mm circular needles. Worked bottom up for body and top down for sleeves, because that makes sense.
