I'm new to CR but one of the most interesting and appealing things about Beau, Yasha, and Jester's dynamics are how honest/authentic those experiences are. Beau and Yasha finding acceptance and love with each other after both feeling as though they would never find it is Such a relatable narrative for a lot of LGBTQ women. And Beau and Jester having this deep ride or die connection, where they always are one word away from going to bat for each other is also really relatable for me at least. Jester and Yasha having this deep understanding of each other and the pain that the other is going through, continuously reassuring each other and just the understanding that they have.

All this to say that I love these dynamics and that i think a big reason that they resonate with people is how close to home they hit

Okay, I have put some thought into this now, and it has become clear to me that Peter is unironically a Swiftie. I feel like their song is probably classic Taylor, like “Love Story,” because I can totally see the two of them jumping around and scream singing the lyrics, but it’s in that sweet, goofy way where they both think the other one is joking, but they’re both quietly thinking about the words they’re singing. 💕

Bonus Also: “Romeo” and “Spider-Man” are both three syllables, and I’m loving the idea of Yasmin messing around with her friends and swapping the names out. Peter sticks around after one of her soccer games only to hear the entire team singing: 

Spider-Man, save me, they’re tryn’a tell me how to feel This love is difficult, but it’s real! Don’t be afraid, we’ll make it out of this web It’s a love story, baby just say yes!
