Um What is cushion jesus?

I’m glad you asked!Aside from Shunsui’s love of being surrounded by all kids of pillows and cushions, in my head he also loves a thicc s/o! Thick thighs, soft belly, round ass, chubby arms, the works! I mentioned this to @imaginemeandyouforever and I said he literally likes having “more cushion for the pushin” and it snowballed into her calling him Cushion Jesus. Now it has officially stuck.

• Needless to say, Hashirama finds you incredibly cute. The height is to blame: even in when engulfed in anger, you look just so tiny and huggable. For him, everything adds to your cuteness, but he finds absolutely adorable your hair. Sometimes, he even buys you dresses and hair accessories he considers charming.

• He had no idea of the work keeping your hair means, he didn’t understand, either, the differences between caring for his straight hair and for your kinky tresses. Once, he almost tore a big chunk of your hair after trying to brush it dry. But once he gets it, he is completely in. Your house is full of hair products: different cleansers, conditioners, and stylers for both hair types. Finally, he feels as proud as you are of your small afro.

• Unfortunately, Harishama’s love and acceptance didn’t translate to a lot of people. They didn’t understand what was different to them and for them, your hair, skin color, and stature were enough reason to insult and mock you.

• Some were upfront about it, they pointed fingers and laughed, throwing hurtful words that only evidenced their own bigotry. Others, afraid of upsetting their leader’s S/O, bite with their murmurs. It was difficult to hear the exact words, but in events and festivals, there it was: a permanent buzz you knew your presence created.

• Usually, Hashirama didn’t know how to react. He was torn between his common cordiality and the growing desire to kick them out of the city. But, in the end, he always stopped the creators of the rumors, the room suddenly infested with a dark aura. Insults were always responded with a fast goodbye -oh, because Harishama had to always greet everyone-, a quick glare and a week of obligatory community work. Being the head of estate of Konoha, Hashirama started to pay more attention to the treatment of minorities and created many laws that protected them from discrimination.

• You, on the other hand, used different methods to approach those comments: counterattacking. Hashirama enjoyed hearing them. He chuckled or laughed or clapped depending on the burn said response caused. His favorite was born after the “Sweetie, when are you going to see your hairdresser?” a diplomat’s wife asked you at a party, that you answered with a “whenever you ask your neurosurgeon to retrieve your intelligence.”

Shunsui Kyoraku:

is a bit of a sprawler

but also likes cuddles

s/o wakes up with a faceful of hair lots of mornings

s/o had better make sure that there’s a big bed - Shunsui’s a big guy even before you take into consideration the fact that he somehow becomes 30% larger when he’s sleep-starfishing

drools a little bit. it’s cute

Jushiro Ukitake:

actually remembers to do something with his hair so it doesn’t go everywhere at night

but somehow his cold feet get everywhere instead

sleeps really still so s/o sometimes worried that he’s taken ill

except when he’s really sick, he’s an active sleeper because he’s got a fever and he has really weird dreams

also when he’s sick-dreaming he talks a lot about weird shit? Like how he wants to eat the cotton candy clouds and how s/o’s nose is the cutest part of them.
