ill be in the locker room during half-time and banging my fist against a locker with my head hung low <- is thinking about its favourite ships again.
satoshi has. weird feelings about some of the criminal teams. they're simultaneously very simple but in the sense of just hating what they're about. when it comes down to the individuals it's a bit more complicated, because ultimately he has always had an easier time being mad at a concept than at multiple people just because anger is such a strong emotion that he feels in concentrated amounts & if he ever feels angry it's always limited to one person, maybe two people at a stretch.
regardless of what the other teams have done to harm pokémon or the world at large, only one team has ever managed to scare satoshi & that's flare. lysandre fucking terrifies him. frightens him more than he infuriates him. it's easy to be angry at people poaching pokémon & ensnaring gods & wanting to rip the universe apart. it is horrifying to see someone witness the manifestation of a bond of sheer trust & love & in that power see potential for a weapon. it is terrifying to be the one ensnared & feel one's mind be invaded by attempts at mind control & feel that feeling twice over because that same bond makes two into one as far as the senses & minds go. ( & all that in the name of something he too believes: the world is beautiful & there are too many awful people. the difference is just that to satoshi's mind the order really is: there are too many awful people, & the world is beautiful. )
Q. what kind of "i love you" are you ??
A. I LOVE YOU, I'VE ALWAYS LOVED YOU, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. it's commitment, it's devotion, it goes often without saying, but is felt nonetheless. it's accepting that you would travel to hell & back for them if they asked, & knowing that they would do the same for you. it's an old ache, long after they've burrowed deep into your chest & settled there like a weight — grounding, an anchor point. even when you're apart, you can still feel the shape of them, it's like phantom pain. neither of you can help but succumb to the other's gravity, yet neither of you fear the collision. it means that you trust them, that they make you feel safe, that they feel like home.
thinking bout ian being very anxious and flustered in his and ada's relationship but as time goes on he gets more confident......
