Morning. NO ONE knows YOUR pain like you do. Battling expended mental energy, seeking clarity and ‘being present’ is no joke. There will be lists of suggestions and opinions about how you should handle this but hear me out—until you find the strength to look yourself in the eye and see what’s there. Until you can say to yourself ‘this too shall pass’ without bursting into tears, let no one diminish your pain to a damn to-do list. Healing is an inside job. Coming face to face with what broke you takes courage. If you’re not there yet, it will find you. If you’re in the valley, talk to God, he will restore you. If you’re out here trying to maintain that fought for peace of mind, keep going. Broken, but still here. Broken things can still glow. Psalm 23, Y'all.
