Thank you for being transparent about blakeshaw,I know there are fans that are too worried about being misunderstood to openly enjoy it. I know it’s fiction and it’s expression and art, but more ppl lately don’t get that. Thanks for being brave for us

This is genuinely so sad, but you are truly welcome, anon.

I know at least some of my supposed bravery is due to the fact my blog is only a month old. Nothing much to lose. (I'd appeal if anyone tried anything. And win because I'm not breaking any TOS.) And all this account links to is my AO3 (with its own staunch no-harassment policy), so if they wanted to come after me, there's not much they could do. Nip at my ankles and call me names like their opinion matters?

Because Blakeshaw is a good ship! So much potential. A lot on the table with the first movie, more on the table after the second movie. I think the age thing appeals to some people, but for others like me, it's simply a non-issue. My main kink is one guy locking another guy in a basement. Kidnapping trope is my kink. Finney could be 40 and I'd be down just as bad. (Note to self, look out window and ponder 40yo Finney AU.) I mean, I'm not gonna lie to you, size kink is also... heh heh... yeah. *ahem* It's a good ship.

I just think adults should get to say to one another, "I arrived at this dark, fucked up thought. Let me share it with you." And it doesn't mean anything. It's not an indicator on what you like in real life. It doesn't reveal how you'd treat real people. It's just a dark thought! I'm not gonna live under the motherfuckin Hays Code! Which these people don't even realize they're quoting sometimes. I am not censoring myself to the delicate sensibilities of 20th century conservatives and advertisers. I'm not going in the repressed shame box. If I think something, if I want to share it, I will say it. Everyone is welcome to block me. They should if they feel the need. I fully support protecting one's self.

Aaaaaaaaanyway, I very much understand anyone afraid to share ships or ideas publicly. My inbox will be open with anon on to those who still have something to say despite it. I shall be your conduit if you want to share something. Whether it be Blakeshaw or other naughty TBP thoughts. I may not have a reply, but I'll publish it.
