The Eight, Chapter 39
Seven Korean Warriors and their Queen.
Always together. Finding each other in every lifetime. Their souls destined for each other for eternity. Sometimes as friends. Sometimes as lovers. Sometimes as spouses. Always together. Until around two hundred years ago, when the Queen vanished. The Warriors: Poet, Misdirection, Ferocious, Watcher, Mischief, Adventure and Passion, continued to find each other, always accomplishing great things in their lives. In their current lives, they’ve found each other and created the biggest boy band in the world. When their Queen is found, and The Eight souls are re-united, they have to figure out how to live, and love, together again.
Chapter 39
Yoongi made up for it in the morning by waking her up with his whole body and mind. Being woken up with your sexy husband in your head and in your body was an experience she would cherish forever. There were times that making love with her men was a full body and mind experience, it was intense and something she had never experienced before.
She had given up on trying to just take it slow. Realistically, she had no choices in this life. These were her soul mates. They were meant to be together. Why fight it? Having a lot of time in her own head gave her a lot of time to think, and even meditate on it.
They got cleaned up and headed hand in hand to the suite to meet with everyone before heading to the airport. They were off to Brazil today. The Muse would be leaving North American soil for the first time in this life. Who knew when she’d be back. It felt weird. She no longer had a home. Korea was supposed to be her home now, but she’d never been there. In reality, she didn’t know all that much about it other than what the internet and her Warriors had to tell her. It was an odd thing to feel like you weren’t attached to anything anymore. Yes, she had her Warriors. But she came from having family, friends, a home, pets. Roots. She felt like she was a flower that had been picked. She was supposed to be replanted, but for now she was just floating with nothing but her Warriors to hold her to earth.
Min-Ho said that once she had reconnected with all seven of her Warriors she would be able to understand all spoken languages no matter where they were. Not that she got the chance to talk to a lot of people outside of the inner circle. She was pretty well protected. It made life terribly boring. Especially since she only had a coloring book that was almost finished to keep her entertained. Maybe she should talk to Sejin, tell him some of her other interests.
Jinnie was the first to see them when they entered the suite. He held his arms out for a hug, and she went without a second thought. “Good Morning, Yeppeun.” he said as he kissed her on the top of her head.
“Good morning, Jinnie” she said with a huge smile as she snuggled into his chest.
“Ya, Why does Seokjin hyung get the first good morning hug?” whined Jimin from his chair, arms crossed in mock jealousy. The Muse knew he was trying to be funny, but she also knew that he was, in fact harboring some jealousy. She let go of Jin and sat down on Jimin’s lap, planting a loud kiss on his lips. “Good Morning, Love. Did you sleep well? Are you hungry?” she nuzzled her nose on his as she spoke, “Do you need a neck massage? Have you had your coffee?”
Jimin smiled big at her over attention, wrapped his arms around her and kissed her silly.
Tae was next in line for wanting his morning kisses. But he was far more patient. Sort of. Taehyung’s version of patient was singing loudly from the closest seat available as he watched them. Serenading her at the top of his lungs with such tunes as “Mountain Bunny” and the theme from Naruto. She thought there was a song about a tomato in there, too.
Giggling, she left a soft sweet kiss on Jimin’s lips and went to wish Tae a good morning.
“Oh!” he said as she sat on his lap, “I didn’t realize you were here already, Love! Did you sleep well?”
The Muse was still giggling as she kissed him, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Those were lovely songs, Taehyung. I especially enjoyed Naruto.” He smiled his big smile and said,
“Oh! Did you hear those? I was just entertaining myself. No real reason for singing them.”
She peppered his face with little kisses and snuggled into him, loving the feel of his arms around her. Her Husbands all made her feel more safe and secure when they held her. Even as a fiercely independent woman, she could admit that she needed that feeling more now than she ever had before.
The flight was long. Very long. Everyone seemed to be sleeping as the Muse made her way to the bathroom. Understandable. Not much more to do than sleep on these long flights.
She used the facilities and opened the door to head back out, but Taehyung was there waiting for her with that look in his eyes. He took a quick look around and pushed her back into the tiny bathroom, locking the door behind them.
“Better be quiet, Yeppeun. We don’t want anyone to catch us.” he whispered as he sat her up on the sink and somehow got himself inside her without banging into the walls or door. She had no clue how they were going to do this without everyone in the plane knowing what was going on. It’s not like she was ever able to be quiet with Taehyung pounding into her.
Her breath left her in a whoosh as he started to move, slowly at first. In and out. The large flared head of his cock seemed to drag on every nerve she had. In and out. He hit that g-spot easily in this position. In and out. She was trying so hard to keep her breaths quiet and not make a sound. In and out. She could feel her clit tingling from just the air circulating around them. In and out. His eyes were on fire, knowing they might get caught but needing his wife right now. In and out. The Muse felt sweat start to form on her forehead. In and out. God, if he didn’t speed up. In and out. His hands were tight on her thighs, trying to keep her in place. In and out. She was starting to shake. And then he lost his patience. The in and out pace sped up and she had to keep reminding herself to stay quiet. Which is terribly difficult when you’re being impaled by the Taeconda. After all of the in and out they could handle, the lovers came, and came hard, The Muse biting Taehyung on the shoulder in her effort to stay quiet.
After cleaning up and mentally preparing for a stern talking to by anyone that heard,
They left the bathroom and were not prepared for what they were met with…
Silence. No one had woken up. No one had heard them. They got back to their seats and were comfortable before the flight attendant even came by. They had gotten away with their tryst, and were now part of the mile high club. She felt Taehyung’s satisfaction and excitement from getting away with it. She sent him a little reminder to calm down, but the look he gave her from across the plane spoke volumes on what sorts of things he was going to come up with for them to do. Jungkook was going to be jealous when he found out.

Chapter 71
The Muster shows in Busan went off without a hitch, as The Muse expected they would. Her Warriors were professionals. They knew what they were doing. She thought the managers really needed to calm down. If they actually watched, really watched, they would see that they have a well oiled machine and a dedicated group that isn’t going to go on stage half assed.
That being said, management did find out about Jimin’s drunken behavior, and they all had to sit through an intensive “Don’t let The Muse distract you from your job” meeting. It was all she could do to not sit on some laps during that meeting. She kept reminding herself to be respectful as they went on and on about how she is such a distraction to what they are trying to accomplish. Unfortunately she couldn’t stop the occasional eye roll from occurring.
The Muse always tried to stay out of the way. How many hours had she spent sitting on some hard dance floor, watching them rehearse? Or sitting underneath a stage, staying out of the way? Their relationships were new. There was no way around the distraction of new love.
And none of that was her fault. It wasn’t any of their fault. It was what it was, and they were all doing their best with it.
There were a few times that she did distract them, though distracting them wasn’t her goal. Her goal had been to battle boredom. Drawing on the walls was one way.
She got into trouble for distracting them again when they were back in Seoul. They had landed late the night after the second Muster concert in Busan. The next morning they had to head out to do an all day recording of BTS Run.
Min-Ho had shown up that morning with a simple summer dress and a bikini. Unaware of what they were filming that day, she cocked her head to the side in question.
“You’re going to a waterpark today, Princess. I’m sure you’ll want to play.”
She perked up and looked over at Taehyung, still laying in bed. “We get to play in water today?”
Tae made some noncommittal, ‘I’m not sure’ type noises before rolling over, pulling the blankets with him. She smiled at that. He was so cute in the morning.
Min-Ho made a tutting noise and disappeared, leaving her clothes behind for her to get ready.
The Muse had crawled on top of Tae, trying to get through the blankets to kiss any part of his head she could reach. With a giggle, she fell to the side and tried to breach his blanket armer.
Tae’s hand shot out from under the blanket and grabbed her waist, making her shriek. He got a good grasp and pulled her underneath the blanket, and underneath him.
“Why are you waking me up so early, Yeppeun. Did I not wear you out enough last night?” he asked as his body settled between her legs and lips ran along the column of her neck.
She gasped as she felt him start to rock his cock between her already wet pussy lips, keeping constant contact with her clit.
“Um, it’s, uh, not that… oh god Tae.” all she was trying to do was tell him it wasn’t that early, but it was difficult to gather her thoughts when he did that. All of her questions about where they were going that day, and all of her thoughts about what time it was went right out the window. She wrapped her arms and legs around her husband and got lost in him. No one cared about morning breath. No one cared that they were still puffy from sleep. All they knew was that they needed each other, and that the feeling of their bodies sliding together, tongues caressing and minds connecting was as important as air in that moment.
Just a couple of hours later they were escorted into a large outdoor water park type facility. There was a large pool, as well as some fun blow up courses to play with on the water. The Muse was in heaven! She loved playing in the water!
But, of course, as the day went on, it became obvious that she was not allowed to play.
She watched them play in the pool, and laughed at their antics as Steve stayed close to her side.
She watched, so envious, as they were dragged around the lake on a tube. She enjoyed tubing.
As she watched them on the gigantic water slide, her mood had taken a turn for the worse. Even Steve had noticed. He tried taking her for a walk around the place, like they sometimes did during rehearsals, but her mood remained sour.
When her Warriors were moved over to be launched off of a huge mattress in the water, she got an idea. She watched with great humor as they were launched, one by one, into the air.
Looking over to Steve she said, “You’re my security, right?”
Steve nodded slowly, looking at her with some suspicion.
“You are here to protect me, correct?”
Again, he nodded slowly, warily.
“Will you protect me from the managers if I have some fun?”
Steve smirked. Somehow he knew she wouldn’t stay down for long, He didn’t say yes or no, deciding it was best to stay neutral. Or at least look like it.
The Muse took his silence as a yes and gave him a huge smile. She looked over where the crowd had moved on to, and as she looked around she saw that the large slide was unmanned. She took off her shoes and the dress and threw them on to a chair before scurrying over to the slide. She motioned for Steve to meet her on the dock, and with one last look toward the group that looked like they were about to sit for a snack, she climbed the slide.
It was one hell of a ride! She flung off the bottom and flew through the air before splashing down into the lake. She came up giggling and wanting to go again.
Steve pulled her up onto the dock and she took off like a flash, knowing she’d have to get as many in as possible before being noticed. Well. Before being noticed by those in charge. A couple of her Warriors had seen what she’d done, and she could feel their amusement.
Down the slide she went a second time. It felt so fast, she couldn’t help the little scream of joy that came out when she was flung up into the air again. She was still giggling when Steve pulled her out. He told her she’d been seen that time, and she wasn’t going to let that stop her.
Yet, anyway.
She heard the managers yelling as she climbed back up the slide as fast as she could and took one more quick run down. She was laughing and screaming as she slid down the enormous blow up slide, this time landing in the water looking like a starfish with her arms and legs spread wide.
Once she popped back up, she saw a couple of the livid managers standing by Steve, yelling at him and at her for disrupting the entire day. She rolled her eyes as she swam toward her bodyguard. Happy that she got to experience the slide and get some swimming in, rather than just sitting like a good girl all day.
They kept complaining and lecturing as Steve pulled her out of the water. She didn’t have a towel, so she just stood with her arms crossed defiantly as she listened to them go on.
After a few minutes they decided it would be best for her to be with the Warriors. At least that way she wouldn’t get into any more trouble.

Chapter 69
The Muse woke up early to the sounds of retching. She was actually kind of relieved. At least if he got it out of his system they might get him sober and, if they're lucky, not hungover for tonight’s show. She rolled out of bed and grabbed a bottle of water, rolling her eyes at the fact that she can grab water for anyone but herself.
Jimin hadn’t actually gotten the bathroom door all the way closed when he’d rushed in, so she was able to slip in unnoticed. She sat on the edge of the tub and looked at the man in front of her. She did feel bad. She knew it wasn’t all his fault. As an Idol, he’d been so well taken care of and also so sheltered that he didn’t know how to take care of her.
None of them really did.
But, not trying was his fault. Of course, he probably thought he was trying. She sighed. They all needed to have a talk about what they needed from each other. Not just her. All of them.
Jimin had stopped and was now laying his head on the toilet seat. He reached up and flushed away his shame and moaned quietly. The misery of ‘hangover’ written all over his body.
The Muse stood and wet a washcloth with cold water. At the sound of the tap being turned on, Jimin looked up and moaned even louder,
“I didn’t want you to see that. Go back to bed, Yeppeun.”
She twisted the cloth to rid it of excess water and turned to lay it across the back of his neck.
Jimin closed his eyes and sighed deep. Color coming back to his face, slowly but surely.
She crouched down and ran her fingers through his hair, trying to provide a little bit of comfort.
He sat back, and she followed suit, sitting on the floor as he laid down with his head in her lap. She took the damp washcloth and wiped the cool material across his forehead and around his face and neck.
As his color started to look more normal, she offered the bottle of water. It took a little convincing, but he did finally take a couple of tentative sips. Once his stomach seemed to settle down and take it with no issues, The Muse was able to talk him into drinking the whole bottle.
Jimin was content to stay on the bathroom floor, it was cool and he was with his wife.
“Jiminnie?” she asked, still running her fingers through his hair, “Are you feeling well enough to move back to the bed? It will be more comfortable, and you will be able to sleep better.”
Jimin nuzzled his head into her thigh a little harder, his arms wrapping around her leg.
She smiled down at him, continuing to run her fingers through his hair. He was pretty adorable like this.
“Come on, love. You can get some more sleep. You’ve got Muster tonight.”
That got him to stir. With another squeeze to her leg and a groan, Jimin turned his head and kissed her thigh before sitting up. He rubbed his hands over his face and groaned.
“Here,” she said as she got up and went to the sink, “You can finger brush your teeth with Hobi’s toothpaste.”
He gave her a disgusted look.
She raised her eyebrow and stared him down. It didn’t take much for him to decide that was his best course of action. So, after he washed his hands, Jimin brushed his teeth with his finger for the first time ever. He was not a huge fan and would try to avoid it in the future, but it was better than nothing and his mouth tasted a million times better.
They made their way back to the bed where Hobi was still fast asleep, and were able to climb back under the sheets without disturbing him. The Muse scooted into the middle and rolled to her side to face Jimin. He looked a little confused. She gave a low chuckle and said “I’m the big spoon for now. Let me hold onto you.”
He considered this idea, and countered, “How about I lay on my back so I can have my arm around you and you can still hold me? Plus, I want to feel the weight of your head on my chest, Yeppeun. I need to feel you’re really with me.”
She smiled as Jimin reached for her. She felt the love and caring. She knew he hadn’t meant to hurt her. She kissed his sweet lips and laid her head on his chest.
“Hold on,” he said as he tapped her back. She looked up and moved out of the way as he sat up to take off his shirt.
“It feels wrong to have that many layers between us. Come here.”
He pulled her back down onto his bare chest, “There. Much better. Not perfect. Perfect would be you and I naked and sweaty and cuddled up after an entire night of making love.”
She chucked and pressed her body a little harder against his to show she liked that idea.
“Soon, Yeppeun. Soon.” Jimin kissed the top of her head as Hobi gave a little snore.
“I love you. And, I’m sorry.”
“I love you, JIminnie. And, I know.” She kissed his peck and nuzzled in to try and get a few more hours of sleep. Muster was a huge deal in the BTS universe. And, even though she’d be able to sleep through most of it if she wanted to, he had to work hard. And he would sleep a whole lot better if she was sleeping along with him.

Chapter 66
Summer Package meant they had projects to do even when they weren’t shooting pictures. The Muse was able to stay out of the way of the cameras, but still partake in the fun. She made rice wine with Yoongi and Hobi, and got to make her own kite. They weren’t able to fly the kites because of the rain, but they still came out really pretty and were fun to make.
Steve arrived the morning after her rain dance.
“What are you doing here?” She asked him, tone full of surprise, “I thought you had some time off now that we are back in Korea?”
“Well, Highness,” he smirked, “It seems the managers think that you are a bit of a handful and need someone to make sure you behave.”
She rolled her eyes at that.
“Did you remind them that you are a security expert, not a babysitter?”
Steve laughed out loud at that, “Yes. I did.”
The Muse let out a loud, dramatic sigh, “It’s so stifling with these managers sometimes.”
“What’s stifling?” Jimin asked as he came up behind his wife, wrapping his arms around her middle and setting his chin on her shoulder.
“The managers.” she pouted as she leaned her head onto his, “They brought Steve all the way out here and interrupted his perfectly lovely time off so he can babysit me.”
Jimin smiled and kissed her cheek, “You are a little bit of a handful.” one of his hands slid back around and grabbed a handful of her bottom.
She giggled at him and leaned a little harder into his frame.
The loud voice of one of the managers calling him pulled Jimin out of the little mini cuddle with a sad little pout on his lips. He gave her a sweet little kiss and caressed her cheek before heading back to work.
With Steve on hand, The Muse was back to sitting in the background behaving herself. Sort of. He did let her wander around within her parameters, but he wouldn’t let her dance in the rain. Honestly. Who did it hurt? She stayed well out of the way when they let her wander free out there. She thought she was more of a distraction sitting in front of them while they recorded.
They took a lunch break, and the managers allowed her to sit with them while they ate. It was mostly because she couldn’t get the food herself, but she was still glad. The managers were really irritating her on this trip. She didn’t want to complain to her Warriors at the moment. Maybe once they were back at the dorm or somewhere private they could all talk.
Her Warriors were in a bit of a rowdy mood that day, and spent most of lunch making fun of each other for this and that. The Muse frowned when the topic turned to very personal things.
They made fun of every little physical imperfection they could find on each other. She thought it was nothing but mean.
“I swear to God,” she snapped, “If any of you speak to any of my children that way, we will be having words.”
It got silent around the table.
Jungkook leaned across the table toward her, “It’s ok Yeppeun. We are just playing with each other.”
Shaking her head, she said “No. You’re not. You’re picking each other apart and saying terrible things that go along with some ridiculous version of beauty standards you grew up with, as if there aren’t literally millions of men and women around this planet that think each of you is the most beautiful person they have ever seen. Imperfections and all.”
They all fell into a thoughtful silence as they finished their food and were, once again, hustled back to finish their schedule for the day.
The whirlwind that was their life had them in Busan a few days later to prepare for the Muster. Well, one of them. This was the first stop. The next would be in Seoul.
Jungkook and Jimin were especially excited to be in their hometown, and both spent some time pointing out landmarks to her from their hotel room windows.
She was spending some quality time with Jinnie after rehearsal, he was showing her how to play some crazy game on his computer. She was terrible at it, but it was still fun. She didn’t know what everyone was up to, but knew that they were all in good spirits. She was left at the hotel, again, this afternoon while the rest of the Warriors wandered. The Muse was trying so hard not to be upset about it. Jinnie tried to convince management that he could take her out to a restaurant or to see some sights, but they just kept insisting that it wasn’t possible with the security man power they had at the time.
“What is their problem?” she had asked Jinnie when he explained that they didn’t want her to go out.
“Honestly? I’m not sure.” he scratched his head, “We have plenty of security. Plus, Steve never leaves your side when we go anywhere. In fact, I believe he’s right outside the door.”
She looked down at the floor, “I’m starting to think he’s there more to keep me in than to keep anyone out.”
Jinnie pulled her into his lap, knowing she needed touch and comfort.
“Come on,” he said as he kissed her on the temple, “Let me teach you how to play this game. You might like it.”
She lost every round and decided that she would take a bath so he could play uninterrupted.
All in all, it was an uneventful evening, and she fell asleep before any of her Warriors or Husbands were back, watching some movie on the local cable.
They all met for breakfast in the suite, and The Muse was excited to see her husbands and warriors. She missed them. Hobi and Joonie both got big hugs and a sweet peck on the lips for their good mornings. Yoongi pulled her close and threaded his fingers into her hair as he kissed her silly. Taehyung moved in and pressed against her back, kissing the side of her neck before Yoongi registered what he was up to.
Passion was not having it, and Jungkook jumped up from his chair, “Ay ay ay ay, Hyung!” as he grabbed his wife’s arm and pulled her to him. “Not here.”
He sat and pulled her into his lap, kissing her sweetly as he ran his finger tips down her cheek, “Good morning, Love. Are you hungry?”
The Muse nodded, she was starving. Luckily their food was already on its way, or she’d be begging for the little bags of chips they had stacked up by the water bottles.
Jimin stumbled in, face puffy and hair still a mess. He’d obviously just woke up. She thought he looked adorable. He plopped down in the chair and scrubbed his hands over his face.
Hoseok chuckled, “You’re looking a little rough, Jiminnie. Too much to drink last night?”
He grumbled and reached for one of the bottles of water on the table.
After Jimin drank half of the bottle, he sighed, “My brother was in the mood to celebrate, and my parents supported the idea.”
The Muse stared at Jimin, a pang of hurt slicing through her chest.
“My family wanted to celebrate, too, Jimin-ah.” Said Jungkook, “But I refused to drink with them over dinner. We have Muster happening. We can’t be limited with things like hangovers.”
The Muse was looking between the two husbands, fighting tears,
“You met with your families yesterday?”
They both nodded.
“Why did you not introduce me?” they stopped cold, “I am your wife. For better or worse.” she scooted off of Jungkook’s lap and moved to the other side of the room.
“Am I not good enough? Is that the problem? Am I not someone you would take home to meet your families?” she was losing the fight against the tears now.
“Yeppeun, the schedule didn’t allow..” started Jimin, but she was having none of it.
“The schedule was clear. You all left the hotel to do whatever it is you do while i’m stuck inside.”
“The managers have said we don’t have enough security to…” started Jungkook.
“The managers are full of shit. And so are you.” She turned to Seokjin, “Can we leave, please? Have breakfast in your room?”
“Yeppeun, don’t you want to talk it out with them?” His look was concerned, but she knew he would take her away if she needed him to. And she did need him to.
“Please, Jinnie” she sent to his mind, completely ignoring whatever argument anyone else was trying to make out loud. “I don’t want to be here right now.” her tears were falling in earnest now. She was hurt. She knew she had been forced on them, but it had seemed like they were figuring it out and forming relationships. But hearing them make excuses for why they didn’t want to introduce her to their families made her feel like nothing more than their whore.

Chapter 64
With it being Monsoon season, the photo shoots were done in between downpours. The Muse was having a great time, though. She got to sit next to an old dog and give him lots of love and pets while she watched. There was a younger dog running around as well, that she got to play with. There were no balls to throw, but the pup seemed perfectly fine with whatever she could find. Sticks, rocks, whatever.
Also, since the shoot was outdoors, she was able to wander around freely and get some actual fresh air. She missed being outside! She didn’t even bother with her shoes, preferring to feel the grass and dirt under her feet. There was a pretty pond close enough that she could explore, too. The whole area was magical. She felt grounded. She very well could have felt that way because this was the first time she was allowed to wander around outside since she came to them.
That thought stopped her. How long had it been? It felt like a mix between forever and yesterday. Huh.
They took a short lunch break and got back into their shots. The rain started to fall pretty heavily while they were shooting in a covered area. The Muse, on the other hand, was back out by the pond playing in the rain with the younger dog. She loved the feeling of the rain. It was warm rain and it wasn’t too long before she found herself jumping in the puddles that were forming in the grassy area. She was laughing and yelling in joy as she and the dog ran back and forth, jumping in the puddles together. She felt so free in that moment.
The Warriors and the staff had all stopped what they were doing to watch and laugh along with her. The photographers took the moment to take a couple of shots of the soaked Queen as she frollicked around in the rain.
The Muse was covered in mud, dress a mess, hair plastered to her face and back, and she looked the happiest they’d ever seen her.
“I wanna go play in the rain, too.” whined Taehyung.
“Don’t you dare!” barked a stylist from behind him.
“Oh, Jesus.” complained one of the stricter managers, “What is she doing now? We should really get hazard pay for dealing with that one. She just cannot behave!”
He stomped over to the edge of the dryness and barked, “Highness! What are you doing? Get back in here! You are a mess!”
The Muse waved and giggled just before she jumped into another puddle, completely ignoring the man trying to take away her fun.
“She has always loved playing in the rain.” Min-Ho’s wistful voice made the Warriors jump in surprise. He was standing just behind them, smiling at the fun his little sister was having.
“Every lifetime she has ever had, she could be found playing in the warm rain.”
He turned his head and watched the manager trying with all his might to get The Muse to pay attention and follow his direction. Raising an eyebrow he looked to the Warriors,
“Have you not figured out how to get her attention?”
Yoongi spoke up, a little offended, “We know we can talk to her in her mind.”
Min-ho nodded, “Yes. there’s that. But she can ignore you that way if she wants to. And it looks like she wants to right now.”
Hoseok tilted his head to the side, “What are you trying to say, Min-ho?”
“I am saying, you can call her to you in a way she cannot ignore. It’s all about your intention when you do it. If you just want her to look your way, she will. If you want her to come to you, she will. She has to.” He turned back to look at The Muse as she slipped and fell to her knees in a puddle, the dog jumping up on her back with its front paws in excitement as she laughed and splashed at it.
“Go ahead,” Min-ho encouraged, “One of you hold your hand out to her with the intention of calling her to you, see what happens.”
The seven looked at each other, silently deciding who was going to try it first. In the end, Namjoon lost the ensuing rock, paper, scissors match and was the first to reach out his hand toward his Queen with the intention of calling her to him.
The moment his hand was outstretched she stopped and turned, her feet seeming to move without her permission as she walked their direction. The look on her face was wary, and the feeling coming from her was annoyance as she stomped through the puddles.
She didn’t bother coming up the stairs into the covered area, choosing to stay just out of their reach in the rain as she looked at Namjoon, one eyebrow up with her head cocked to the side.
“Um,” Namjoon said, feeling a little uncomfortable at her ire, “Min-ho said that we could get your attention this way if you were ignoring us.”
She said no words, simply turning her annoyance to Min-ho, who was smiling devilishly at her.
“I’m concerned, Princess. It seems your Warriors don’t truly know how to deal with their Queen.”
“They know well enough how to ‘deal’ with me, Min-ho.” she snapped out loud, switching to thought so she could mentally tell him to shut his mouth. “They don’t need to know everything. No one does.”
“And why do you think that, Princess?” Min-ho asked silkily, much like an older brother that was planning to do something that will definitely irritate their sibling.
Her Warriors were all looking back and forth between the two, all seven curious at what looked to be a silent war happening with them.
The cranky manager chose that moment to stomp over, yelling at The Muse about being covered in mud and needing to get cleaned up before they can move on with their day.
She heard the cranky man, but never looked away from Min-ho. Afraid if she did, he would spill more of her secrets. She was afraid it was just a matter of time before he did just that.
Min-ho backed up and eventually disappeared while the manager was still giving her hell for enjoying herself. Once he was gone, she turned her attention back to the matter at hand.
Jungkook stepped forward with a garment bag that Min-ho had apparently given him so she could change.
“Hyung,” he said to the manager with a little bow, “I’m finished with the shoot. I will take her down to the showers to get cleaned up and be back before you can miss us.”
With that, The Muse turned and walked the direction of the shower, knowing Jungkook wasn’t far behind.
“Hold on, Yeppeun,” he called, “I need to grab my shower bag from the room.”
He jogged back to the room to grab his bag, leaving her to enjoy the last few moments she had of this lovely rain storm.

Chapter 61
After the “in flight service” discussions died down, Hobi looked at The Muse,
“I do have a question, though.”
She looked over at him with an eyebrow raised, chewing on the last bite of her dinner.
“You are fairly shy with others.” He said, “you tend to hide from any unwanted attention, you even duck when the camera’s are panning your way. Why are you so outgoing with your affections towards us? I would never have seen you as the girl to have sex in an airplane bathroom. Or the girl that would let Jungkook drag her off to any available space to have his way with. You’ve been caught several times,” Jungkook smirked at this, “but you still allow it to happen. Why?”
The Muse blushed a bright red at the memories that Hobi was bringing up. Yes, Watcher did indeed see all. And she did not want to answer that question. She was chewing slowly and thinking hard, trying to come up with something that wasn’t necessarily a lie, but would appease them enough to let the matter go.
Seokjin noticed her struggle and spoke up, “Yeppeun? Didn’t you say that once you had reconnected with all of us you’d be able to show us the vision of our future that Sejong gave you?”
She took a sip of her water and nodded, thankful for the change of subject and latching on like it was a life preserver, “Yes. I did.” She smiled, “And now I can when you are all ready.”
“We are ready!” Taehyung was excited at the idea and had been pestering her to show him ever since he’d found out about it.
“Wait!” He stopped, his hands stretched out in front of him, palms up, “Wait a minute! You’ve reconnected with everyone? All seven? You’ve been with all of us?”
She chuckled at his outburst, “Yes, Tae. I have reconnected with all seven of my Warriors.”
He sat back with a terribly mischievous look on his face and sent her a couple of ideas of things he’d like to try with her and another Warrior or two. Again she turned bright red and giggled at some of the things he’d like to try.
“Yeppeun?” Jinnie called to get her attention again, “The vision?”
“Oh! Yes. Sorry. I got distracted.” she looked around at her seven Warriors, “are you all sure you want to see? It’s just a small glimpse into a moment in time he showed me. I have to admit, I look at it often.” her lips tilted up into a small smile as she thought of the vision.
A chorus of agreement rang from the group, giving her all of the encouragement she needed. She loved looking at the vision. It gave her hope, as Sejong said it would.
Gently, she instructed them all to close their eyes and clear their minds as if they were going to meditate. Closing her own, she reached out to each of them and sent them each a little touch to their cheeks to let them know she was there. Taking a deep breath she brought the vision to mind.
She was sitting in a covered patio area overlooking a large back yard. Children of all ages were running and playing here and there. There were a couple of grandfather types wandering out in the further area’s, as well. She saw a trampoline with a couple of smaller kids jumping with Jimin. A soccer ball caught her eye, and she looked over to see Seokjin with a couple of his own kids mixed in with hers playing a match. A little squirm in her lap made her look down at the boy she held. He had to be around 3 years old. She was trying to cajole him into taking a little nap that he absolutely did not want. Smiling and feeling over run with love, she squeezed him a little tighter and kissed his chubby little cheeks, making him giggle. That little smile was so precious. He looked so much like his father. “You don’t want to be tired and cranky when your friends get here, do you?” she asked the squishy little love she held. “I don’t wanna nap!” he shook his little head back and forth, stubborn. She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair, feeling so happy in that moment. A little boy around the same age that she recognized as Hoseok’s son ran out of the house and up to them, squealing happily, “Come on Little Mochi! Let’s play!” The little boy in her lap looked innocently up at her and smiled before she allowed him to scoot off and run into the yard with his little friend. Hoseok came out of the house with another little one on his hip that was scrambling to get down and play. “Hobi!” She exclaimed, “Where’s your wife?” she asked as he bent to give her a kiss on the cheek. “She’s in the kitchen helping prepare for the meal.” he answered before his little one came up and grabbed his hand, pulling him out to the yard to play with the others. Smiling she sat back and looked over at her husband, Taehyung, as he was lounging in a reclined chair with two babies sleeping on his chest. They looked to be about a year old, one had a fashionable pink ruffle butt onesie on with her legs curled up underneath her. The other, wearing a brown and white onesie with teddy bears on it, had his arm stretched across his father's chest to hold his sister's hand while they slept. Tae was content, watching the other kids play in the yard while he rubbed his sleeping babies backs.
On the other side of Tae was Yoongi. He had a little girl with wild curly hair that looked to be about 2 asleep on his chest. Her face was firmly nuzzled into his neck as she slept. A look of peace and tranquility on his face as he cuddled with his daughter.
The house door opened again, bringing her attention over to Jungkook as he came out holding a newborn wrapped in blue. “He just woke up. I changed him, but he’s pretty hungry” he said, handing the tiny bundle to her before sitting at her side with a chuckle,
“Of course, he IS my boy, so it makes sense that he’s always hungry.”
Two boys around the age of 8 or 9, came running up to Yoongi’s side,
“Appa Yoongi? Can you come show us that trick shot in the basketball court again? Please?”
Yoongi smiled and quietly said yes as he wrapped his arms around the toddler asleep on his chest so he could get up without disturbing her. After gently handing her off to Jungkook, who she nuzzled right into, Yoongi ran off to the court to show the kids more of his moves.
The door opened again, and Namjoon came out holding a toddler sized boy on his hip.
“Joonie!” she exclaimed, “Where’s your wife?”
Smiling, Namjoon leaned down to kiss her cheek, and said “She’s in the kitchen with Hoseok’s wife and Seokjin’s wife. The grandmothers have given them their marching orders on what they are making for the meal. They are cooking up enough food to feed the entire country.”
The feeling during this day and time was one of serenity and happiness. Everything felt right. There was no stress, no derision. Just joy and contentment.
When The Muse had shown her Warriors everything Sejong had shown her, she opened her eyes to find them all with tears in their eyes.
“Is it true?” Taehyung asked as he wiped his eyes, “Is that what our future holds?”
“I believe so,” she answered. “That’s what Sejong showed me. He said it wouldn’t be an easy journey, but it would be worth it in the end.”
“Why are you calling my son Little Mochi?” exclaimed Jimin with no little amount of annoyance, “We are NOT calling my son ‘Little Mochi’”
All she could do was smile. “I don’t know, Jiminnie. But he’s so cute. I think of his little smile when I get stressed or sad. It always cheers me up.”
“Why couldn’t you have seen our wives?” Hobi asked with a pout.
The Muse laughed at that. “I don’t know.”
