bogum’s parents divorced at the age of eleven. parents are on amicable terms with each other. father gained custody of bogum while his siblings stayed with their mother. he’s still very close with his siblings despite the distance, kakao talks can be chaotic at times. maintains good relations with his mother when he would stay with her during the summer occasionally. close-knit relationship with his father, although feels like he needs to be the shining son in order to make his father proud. (like justifying his dad’s choice in deciding to gain custody of him all those years ago).
aiming for one of the top 3 to study in business administration in hopes of following in his parent’s footsteps. has his eyes currently set for hanwha, like his father, if possible.
bogum’s father and his siblings had all attended sunhwa. only his father is cheong ryong alumni. bogum’s siblings were not part of the two houses and remained in ju jak and hyeon mu during their three years. bogum is the second person in the park family having entered cheong ryong through initiation during his second year.
childhood friends with current baek ho initiate choi sulli, seen her since diaper and messy paint days in kindergarten.
during a drunken stupor where he ends up a bit more vulnerable sees kim jinwoo as someone who he can (maybe) go to for advice within cheong ryong. completely oblivious to jinwoo’s thoughts of him.
partners with jung soojung in a home econ for a project where they take care of a doll baby for 12 weeks. many lessons on how to be good parents and students simultaneously. (includes crying babies during midterm weeks and mental breakdowns. good stuff). part of a co-ed hazing session during their initiations in their second year and ~many more~. wordlessly would offer comfort during that time eventually forming a subtle camaraderie.
sober enemies for life with nam taehyun. involves voodoos, passive aggressive arguments and many sighs from bogum. also alternatively can be besties when completely drunk.
good friends with jung wheein after initial one-sided passive dislike during younger days. known each other since middle school, when she dated one of bogum’s best friends. had a mild case of friendship jealousy although it died down by the time they reunited at sunhwa.
tutors seo kangmi. feels like he has to work harder with her than all his classes during his entire three years at sunhwa

nothing really. a bit out of place even. only joined as his father was alumni for it beforehand and felt doing it would be a good way to make him proud. nonetheless, bogum does as he is told and does his best to maintain the traditions and code of conduct that is expected of every cheong ryong member.
