A Story of Killerblade/Yi Dao and A Young Master
This is in the compendium if you pick up the books in Qinghe
No! The plot of Yidao is not like this!!!!
😭OMG I really can’t stand for this anymore, did anyone laugh when you come across to Yidao’s plot?
If you laugh that is totally make sense because that part of translation is a Fucking Bullshit!!!
When he died and said those “Relentless advance!”“Never show my face!!!”like an edgy teenager with chuunibyou who's a psychopathic killer from a Japanese anime. DID YOU KNOW? HE WAS ACTUALLY RECITING LINES OF A POEM:)
Here is the right line of that poem, comes from tang dynasty poet Li Bai. I can’t translate it well in english because my english is not well enough, but i can tell you its true meaning.
The first line: 十步杀一人,千里不留行。literally means a high skilled warrior-hero can kill an enemy in ten steps he takes, and even his journey across thousands mile distances, no resistance strong enough to stop him.(a kind of exaggerated rhetoric, indicating that this person has superb skills)
The second line: 事了拂衣去,深藏功与名。After completing his mission, the knight-errant wipe the dust on his sleeves away, and left without seeking praise. He acts not for fame, but because he believes the deed must be done.
The third line: 纵死侠骨香,不惭世上英。even if I die, the principles I firmly believe in will not be erased. I have done everything I could in my life, and I am not unworthy of the heroes I admire in history. I will never regret it.
By then, Yi Dao understood with painful clarity that he would not leave the place alive. So he said: even if my life ends here, I have acted as the great heroes of the past once did; I have done what my friend Chu Qingquan would have done. I have not failed them, nor betrayed the promise I made.
He had kept every promise he ever made. Yi Dao honored the pact with Chu Qingquan by coming to Buxianxian and finding the secret of Jiang Wulang(which means us). And he honored his promise to the protagonist: he would send young master into the wider world of the jianghu, and he would keep the young master alive.
Thus he recited the poem before he died, affirming that to die for what he believed in was still an honor. The young master spoke the last line with him—“ ”—because he saw himself as Buxianxian’s protector. If danger came to the sect, it should claim his body before reaching anyone else. In that moment, his resolve matched Yi Dao’s.
But Yi Dao, being older and knowing more of the world, could not allow the young master to follow him into death. He asked, “You haven’t really seen the jianghu. Do you regret it?” And the young master said, “I’ve already seen it.” Yi Dao understood that this was only the beautiful imagination of a brave kid, but there’s no time for him to explain. All he could do was send the young master into Han Xiangxun’s protection with the last strength he had.
This part of the whole story should be an individualistic heroism, romantic tragedy moment when he died, yet the AI translation ruin it!!!! 😡😡😡 Where Winds Meet I won’t forgive yooooou😡👊⚡😡👊👊 forevrrrrrraaaaaaa!
Unfortunately I have a new old man to hyperfixate on....
I'm not crying. You're crying. Yi Dao is such a cool character, man. ;-;
