anyway, I want to overindulge in an au where, for some reason, Division Five was disbanded. And when everyone was shocked when, after Aizen had disappeared with Gin and Tousen, Momo Hinamori was miraculously alive.
Division Three and Nine were handed to Kira and Hisagi as newfound captains, but Hinamori was considered too weak to be a captain. But, a certain someone realized that he could use her in his division.
So, Ukitake reached out and invited her to be his first lieutenant in years. All because he is a man who appreciates and absolute tank of a comrade.
Like, this girl survives it all. And I truly believe Ukitake would be one of the first people to see this hidden talent and appreciate it. Nobody thought he'd live this long, so call it an act of faith.
