Could someone please explain to me how in the everloving fuck a HEDGEHOG FUNERAL has somehow made me completely obsessed with a pairing I unequivocally did not like.

I know I’ve been a little absent lately, but in light of recent events, I did want to pop on and say this: I support MaxTul 1000% and I have no tolerance for people who are sending hate to either of them.

I think a lot of people get caught up in their own fantasies about a lot of BL actors, and I think it’s important to remember that these guys are ACTORS, and that being in these shows is a JOB. I have never thought any of these guys are actually together in romantic relationships off screen (if they were that would be obviously be adorable, but I do not expect it). What is so charming about MaxTul, though, is that they do actually have a really strong friendship outside of their roles as KornKnock and TanBun. They care about each other, they have each other’s backs, they support one another--and I love that about them sososo much. They have never lied to us about this--they have a super strong bond. In this way, MaxTul is real, and I think that’s wonderful.

I also think it’s wonderful that they are both comfortable enough with each other and themselves to really try to bring an authenticity to the queer roles they play. This is so important and I really respect them (and all other BL actors with the same attitude) for this.

I think the most important thing to remember is that these guys are also human beings, with real human lives, and if you actually care about them, you’ll be happy when they’re happy, and I hope Max is happy with Mook, and I wish them all the best.
