Yo-Kai Watch Brings Tamagotchi to Anime Television Series for 4 Episodes!
Bandai Japan has partnered up with Yo-Kai Watch, an anime television series based on the role-playing video game where players befriend Yo-Kai and fights the bad ones that seek to rule over the world!
The collaboration will bring Tamagotchi characters to four consecutive episodes on the Friday evening anime television broadcast! The four episodes will start on Friday, October 7th, 2022 at 6:25PM and be broadcasted on TV Tokyo 6 station in Japan. Based on the teaser, looks like Mametchi will be there, but who else might show up?

Yo-Kai Watch x Tamagotchi Merchandise Now Available at GraffArt Shop in Japan
If you’re a big Yo-Kai Watch fan, and saw the collaboration on the four episodes last year, you’ve probably seen the merchandise that was recently shown off. Well it looks like the merchandise is hitting shelves! PANA789 on Twitter was at the GraffArt Shop in Osaka Namba Japan and spotted a cute Yo-Kai Watch x Tamagotchi display!
The display features a large banner advertising the collaborations adorable merchandise, and some of your favorite Yo-Kai and Tamagotchi characters in their acrylic cutout form! The merchandise available for sale is also clearly labelled, this includes the acrylic figures, the tape holder, lunch box, keychains, and more!

Bandai Japan and Yo-Kai Watch, an anime television series based on the role-playing video game where players befriend Yo-Kai and fight the band ones that seem to rule over the world teamed up back in the fall to deliver some cross over episodes. In these episodes, Tamagotchi characters in Yo-Kai anime form were in the episodes, and ending credits.
It looks like the collaboration was a success, because there is now official Yo-Kai x Tamagotchi merchandise available for preorder! That’s right, keychains, acrylic figures, tape holders, lunch boxes, mirrors, and more are just waiting for fans to order!
The merchandise features images from the scenes that Tamagotchi was featured on! You’ll see Mametchi, Lovelitchi, and Kuchipatchialong with Yo-Kai Watch characters such as Jibanyan, Komasan, Whisper, and more!
If you’re a Yo-Kai Watch fan, then you’ll definitely want to get your hands on this merchandise!
