This morning I woke up in excruciating pain. I did something to my back yesterday, and I’d been in pain ever since. I thought I could sleep it off but that didn’t work. I woke up In tears, got out of bed and fell straight to the floor basically with a dead leg and pain shooting from my lower back through my right leg, and just sat there crying. I was finally able to get up and get back in bed and I stayed in bed for another couple hours before asking my mom to bring me a heating pad to use for a few minutes. 😔 • My body told me to chill, so I did. My body needed rest, so I let it rest. If there’s anything I’ve learned this past year is that when your body tells you to do something, you do it. I let my body rest. I tried to find different positions to get comfortable and nothing worked. Finally I felt okay enough to stretch and decided on a yoga class. And let me tell you... YOGA WORKS WONDERS. My back isn’t 100%, nor is my leg, but I was able to get up and walk around and I’m feeling 1000 times better! • Moral of the story - LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.
