031513: "Two out of three ain't bad."
In a span of two days, I ran on four hours of sleep. And maybe some little naps in my short commutes. Last night was the party of 2013! My class celebrated our christmas/graduation party at Scool Bar in Malate and I had a blast. It feels good to see the boys and girls I spent my four years of JRN with very out and about! Haha! Alam na! What happens in Scool, stays in Scool. ;) I drank a good amount but wasn’t enough to make me crazy. I think I was one of the few na may ulirat pa, and I could remember EVERYTHING from last night. And frankly, that’s the worst part from that party. I can remember EVERYTHING. It was fun while it lasted, but when people kept asking each other “Okay ka lang?”, boy, was it different. Anyway, so much for that. I went home at around 2 a.m. when my dad picked us up from the place. Safely returned ate Ria and Jam to their houses first, though. Had a good talk with my dad after, regarding family conerns and how we are slowly losing precious sleep. Kahit kanya-kanyang battles, wala namang iwanan sa family namin. I had to wake up at around 6 a.m. for another job opportunity. I was really in zombie mode, with aching feet from heels and a half-sober brain. Arrived pretty early for a 9:30 a.m. calltime. The tests weren’t really what I expected. I think I died a little in that workplace. I worked on three tests for a total of four hours, without internet, just purely raw files and my dysfunctional brain and what I learned from four years of Journalism in UST. Four hours without standin up, stretching or eating. One time, I had to watch a Pope John Paul II documentary and di lang akk nagpapahalata sa ibang employees dun na naluluha na ako sa ganda nung documentary, hahaha! Seriously. I finished at 2 p.m., had yucky lunch and went home after. Bought myself a reward though. For being a bad-ass zombie for two days. Anyway, I think I did my tests iustice. It’s 2/3 now. It’s my plan B but if it’s Thy will. :) Plan A will be in motion tomorrow! I’m just tired. Can’t help but to think that it’s just really time to fucking move on. Not just for me, I mean. I’m sure I am not the only one. Yup, I said it. Time to move on, kasi wala nang ibang pupuntahan kundi yun. After graduation is a brand-spanking-new chapter of life that smells of fresh books and parchment. But you know, sometimes we just can’t help but to peek at the highlighted parts of old and rotting books. Don’t misunderstand, I LOVED the party last night but just like everything we love and have loved, we move on. Somewhere, somehow. Basta.
