Random rant, but the excuses people keep finding to hate on Ash are so ridiculous at this point. For the longest time, he was constantly being bashed for never catching any legendaries, and now on Twitter people are hating on him for having a Z Ring, a Dynamax Band, and a Key Stone all at once because it makes him “too OP”. Like which is it, then? Do we want him to be overpowered or not?

That's anipoke Twitter in a nutshell. (which is why I don't post any anipoke content on that platform) These are the same people who threatened to cancel anyone who even remotely criticized Goh's capture of Suicune. And do these guys really think Ash is SERIOUSLY gonna use all three in a single battle?

A z-ring I would wear in Alola!!! The band is made out of a ‘spark stone’… ngl that might just be an anime thing, but idc!!! I’m super happy with how this turned out!!!

then this is gladion's z-ring (excuse the slightly bad quality)

so he got his from nanu? i know in the manga and game, gladion was team skull's enforcer and such, and nanu was well-acquainted with team skull so i guessssss it makes sense? i just wanna know how gladion got the z-ring in the anime and why nanu gave it to him (assuming his first grand trial was with olivia as he got the rockium-z LOL)
