Due to the serious underpayment the voice actors of Miraculous Ladybug are getting (despite the high popularity of the show), Joe Ochman, the English VA of Mayor Bourgeois has left the show and will be replaced in Season 5. On top of that, the reason SAMG will be no longer animating Miraculous episodes also has to due with being underfunded. SAMG is known in the fandom for animated some of the best episodes in terms of animation like Crocoduel and Strike Back. Mind you, if they can afford to make The Awakening Movie with a budget over 100 million dollars, then they can afford to give their employees a fair pay. #ZAGPAYUP- Give The Miraculous Voice Actors A Raise

i’m not really a part of the mlb fandom anymore, but what Zag is doing to the voice actors is ridiculous. If anyone doesn’t know, the VA for Juleka and Rose (and presumably others) has quit after they refused to pay her a reasonable wage. They also made the VAs sign NDAs so they cannot discuss their wages with each other, which is bizarre. The production of the show has gone so downhill over the years in quality of animation, merch, and scheduling. It’s one of the most popular animated shows, and yet they can’t even pay the VAs the wages they deserve.

Reminder to everyone that a common tactic to distract people from something is to get them to focus on something else.

If Zag releases new Awakening or the main series content to shift focus away from this issue, don't let him. Make him pay up.

it's a straight up miracle that ml is a coherent and enjoyable show despite jeremy zag doing his level best to literally blow it up to smithereens in every possible aspect with his incompetence and ego. i want to say i'm astounded that morons on here and twitter are twisting themselves into pretzels trying to pin the blame on thomas instead of jeremy, but this is honestly par for the course with the collective brain worms disease that infects social media and especially the saltier and whinier parts of this fandom. also it's painfully obvious to anyone with a brain that a good 75% of the drama that thomas "caused" on twitter with snark about chronology/releases/writing/censorship/abruptly shortened story arcs was him having to cover up for jeremy's idiocy and greed to keep himself from being fired from his own show, but then again expecting a functioning brain cell is too much from most of you i guess.
